My self-summary
Pttttttttthhhhhhbbb.

I want to not be lonely.... And I'm not.
I'm in a relationship ya'll!
Laters.

That being said, I am perfectly content to be on my own. I pretty much like things as they are. I like me as I am.

If you're looking for fast and loose I am NOT it. I actually want to get to know someone. If it happens, it happens. Whatever. That would be nice.

And maybe I haven't given up on wanting that one that makes my heart skip a beat.
Yet.

Best to be friends first and foremost. I like people who like what they like and the rest of the world be damned. I think people should be themselves honestly and fully... I do live by the basic creed of "don't be a jerk", and I suppose I like people with a similar philosophy. It needs to be a part of the intrinsic nature. Of everything.

Though my interests are many and diverse, I am absolutely not interested in sports, politics, finance or business.
I'm sure there's more, but I don't wanna give away all the mystery.
(There is no mystery, by the way)
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an admin for a not for profit.
I do stuff that I'm good at.
I try to be a good person.
I like it.
It works for me sometimes.
I’m really good at
Understanding people, listening... being empathetic.
Tellin' it like it is. Word.

Knowing when to say "fuck this shit".
The first things people usually notice about me
I suppose I am a bit unconventional.
I often have blue hair.
I like to smile and laugh. I can be pretty hilarious in the proper circumstances.

I've never been a pretty girl, and I am super fine with that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite books - Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy, 100 Years of Solitude, On the Road, A Brief History of Time, Peter Pan, anything by Roald Dahl, The Little Prince, The Prophet, Alice in Wonderland, existentialist philosophy, Thomas Hardy, lots of others - Books. I like 'em. A lot.

Favorite movies - Princess Bride, Labyrinth, the Science of Sleep, Amelie, Jeff who lives at home, Monty Python - the Holy Grail, Pee Wees Big Adventure, anything or fanciful and visually interesting, quirky - lots of others - Movies. I like 'em. A lot.

Favorite music - The Cure, Modest Mouse, Prince, Parliament, Ani DiFranco, Cat Stevens, Tori Amos, Dead Milkmen, Ramones, Bjork, anything funky, 80's, more more more. I dislike thrash metal and your typical dance music and techno. Anything else is probably perfectly acceptable.

Favorite food - more about the steak than the cake.
The six things I could never do without
Coffee, my cats, clothes, a cozy domicile, good food
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how to make the world a better place, why things are the way they are, how humanity fits into the puzzle, why the puzzle is a puzzle, quantum mechanics, chaos...

Music - songs I've never heard before that only exist inside my head.
On a typical Friday night I am
Avoiding the outside, likely watching movies or something on the flix.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Full ON. fuckin' introvert. I am terrified of meeting new people.

I therefore come off as aloof and comedically indifferent . This is a mask for my terror at interaction. Subsequently I am charming and amicable in most circumstances. If not comedic then, I guess, just indifferent.

I'm unlikely to send a first message... I might respond.
You should message me if
You are smart, funny and easy to hang out with, or you want to do or talk about something interesting.

Note: I am a stickler for grammar in the written word. It's important. Punctuation too.
I don't care if you wanna get all street up in mah grill, but you best be spellin' that shizz with pizzazz. Or some junk.
Wordplay is hilarious.

I suppose message if you are aware of your own ridiculousness, and don't care.

If you have a strange idea you need to bounce.
