Things have been going pretty well for me recently. I have a new job that I like, and a small circle of good friends, and now I'm hoping to add to that by finding someone to share new adventures with. Meeting people seems to become more of a challenge as I get older, but I've never been one to back down from a challenge.
For me, a good time could be anything from going to a festival, seeing a concert, going bowling, or just taking a day trip someplace scenic. I'd be equally happy watching a movie or playing a game at home. Generally, who I'm with makes more of a difference than what we're doing. I take things in stride and try to avoid personal drama. And I try to maintain a sense of humor, no matter what the situation -- not always easy, but it keeps life interesting.
In recent years, I've become more eager to try new things, as well as to take the chance and do something on my own when I can't find anyone else to go along. In fact, not too long ago I traveled to the Caribbean on my own and really enjoyed it. However, I find life's experiences are usually far better in the company of someone else. I love reading, traveling/visiting new places, board games, eating out with friends/family, and most of all listening to music.
I'm not looking to rush into anything. I'd much rather take things slow and get to know you, so if you think we might have a connection, I'd be happy to hear from you.
Movies -- thrillers, comedies, some dramas -- nothing overly violent or raunchy, though
Music -- I've always been a bit obsessed with popular music. I'm the guy who can tell you who sang any song and probably what year it came out. My favorite music is primarily 80's and 90's pop, but I like a wide variety from the 60's through the present day
Food -- American, Chinese, Seafood, Pizza, BBQ
Games (board, party, card games, etc...in my opinion, the perfect night out with friends)
Positive people in my life
How to improve myself, and the quality of my life
Why other people think and act the way they do...I'm totally fascinated with human psychology
Totally random things that pop into my head (I tend to remember the most useless details...)
