My self-summary
Oregon explorer, runner not jogger, cork not twist top, star trek & star wars, lover of America's pastime, who always stops to smell the roses

I'm a great friend who is happiest in life when surrounded by fun, social, and spontaneous people who are loyal and down to have a good time.
What I’m doing with my life
Whether its hiking, camping, backpacking, swimming, chasing sunsets, or climbing mountains, I cannot get enough of Oregon and exploring it with the great people in my life.

When I'm not dreaming of a waterfall to view or vistas to climb, I work as a freelance graphic designer and marketer contracting with small companies who to explain the difference between a handle and a hashtag. I love my job because I work with amazing people and get a new office every day as I explore the coffee shops of the world!
I’m really good at
Late night snacking, running in the rain, always finding the good in a person, and recognizing actors in movies, not their names, but just that they were, you know the brother of that guy in in that one movie. remember?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books.Love Tolkien, classics Fitzgerald and Hemingway, as well as any kind of autobiography.

Movies. Ridley Scott, Bruce Lee films, Sci fi from Star Wars to Tron, and Robert Redford and Kevin Costner sport flicks.

Music. Love alternative (washed out, blitzen trapper) electronic (M83, daft punk) jazz (miles davis, bing crosby) just not a big country guy.

Food. A cold beer or glass of red wine and family & friends, are all the ingredients I need to create an incredible meal.
Six things I could never do without
My running shoes
Sense of Adventure
The crack of a baseball bat
People to explore with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My next outdoor adventure. How to sneak back over and visit my European friends. How to burn the midnight oil and catch the worm the next morning. I also find myself thinking of ways to seize the day, live in the moment, and never taking anything for granted.
On a typical Friday night I am
Now that spring has sprung, my Fridays consist of finding the best patio space in Portland and chilling with friends over a couple microbrews. Is it Friday yet?

If i'm not on a patio soaking up rays, i'm probably in my car driving to my family cabin in the mountains, or friends beach house on the coast!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a huge fan of romantic comedies. Meg and Tom, Harry and Sally, you had me at hello, love actually, nothin like a good romantic flick to warm the heart.
You should message me if
If you have a great Portland patio bar you wish to share. You should message me your most recent outdoor adventure as i'm always looking for new places to explore.

While I would love to start a conversation over messages, you should message me if you are interested in escaping the virtual cloud, and hangout under the northwest clouds (corny i know, but accurate!) I have lived here for just about four years and know quite a few amazing and beautiful spots in this area that are always better with company!
