My self-summary
I'm a Massachusetts native who recently moved to Carolina for a job at UNC. I really like Chapel Hill so far. Everyone is very friendly and I enjoy being able to walk or bike everywhere.

Things I like in no particular order: coffee, red wine, working out, npr, dark beer, potatoes, football, books.

Edit: I am moving to East Lansing, Michigan for a job at Michigan State in August.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a postdoc (kind of like a visiting professor) in the stats department at UNC, hope to eventually become a professor.

When I was in grad school, I entered a race where you had to run half of a 5k, eat six large cookies, and then run the rest of the 5k. I won and got my picture in the school paper. I am very proud of this accomplishment, lol.
