My self-summary
I'm 29 years old, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, and food is my biggest Passion. I'm mostly Italian and German, and can cook any dish I've ever eaten, seen, or heard of, ever, go on and test me :) I also play guitar, drums, sing and write music. Music is a huge part of my life. If I'm not listening to it, I've got a song going through my head. I tend to tap my fingers to drum beats a lot, but I don't air guitar, that's just dorky. I love traveling, I've been to the Carribbean, Bahamas, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg. I want to continue traveling for the rest of my life, seeing every country I can, only stopping for the ones I might get shot in (which, nowadays, I'd say is more likely in this country). I try to learn from everything around me and every success and mistake in my life. I'm serious about life, but I rarely take it too seriously, because that crap will give you a stroke. I'm quirky, have a strange sense of humor, and am always up for laughing or making others laugh. I'm a total geek, I will watch any fantasy, sci fi, bad ass action movie, and quote them for the rest of the day, possibly the week. Also video games, when I have the time.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm currently I'm working on building my own gourmet food truck, which is a huge undertaking, but it'll be completely worth it once I have it up and running. I love TV, movies, video games, and music, both listening and playing. I created a three track demo of original music a few years ago, where I sang and played guitar. Though I didn't do much with it, hearing the songs I wrote come to lifer was one of the proudest moments of my life.
I’m really good at
Cooking any type of regional dish from pretty much any country with a relatively prevalent cuisine, and I guarantee you that if you have a food that you Never like, I can come up with a dish that you'll like it in, or your money back *offer not valid at my job*, trivia of ALL kinds, but especially of pop culture, deep conversation/arguments, because when it comes down to it they usually go hand in hand, spelling and grammar, making people laugh, even if it takes a few swings and misses to get them to crack a smile, musical instruments, and to a slightly lesser extent singing, and knowing how to survive an apocalypse...I know that sounds a bit off, but I sometimes go through life looking at things and thinking of their uses in a post apocalyptic society (preferably not nuclear, because nobody really lives through those). oh, and I also have a knack for identifying peoples ethnic background, and I always like asking people where they're from and what life is like from where they live, it gives you a much better perspective on the rest of the world.
The first things people usually notice about me
I get that I have really broad shoulders a lot, and I can strike up a conversation with anyone. I'm always inquiring, trying to figure things out, especially things I know little about, so I may come off as a bit talkative, but once you get me in a one on one or group conversation, I do try my best to shut up enough to let other people talk.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Any good, immature, stupid, or otherwise hilarious comedy is always appreciated. I love pretty much any fantasy world based movies, and most sci fi ones as well. Some of my favorites are Grandmas boy, 40 year old virgin, Knocked Up, Role Models, Happy Gilmore,13th Warrior, Willow, Lord of the Rings, anything with Jason Statham, Battle Royale (look that one up some time), Shinobi, Fifth Element is one of my all time favorites, Baseketball..
Rome, Dexter, True Blood, The Soup, tosh.o, community, Boardwalk Empire (I met Steve Buscemi at my job at Mohonk Mountain house, he's Exactly like he is in every movie he's ever been in, oh and he ate my risotto), Mythbusters, South Park, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Archer.

My favorite foods are Japanese, Thai, Ethiopian, Mexican, traditional Chinese and Indian, and I will try any food in the world, no matter what it is, so I'm really not picky.
And music...wow, so many to list...Green Day, Alter Bridge, Sister Hazel, Fuel, Ben Folds/Five, James Taylor, Foo Fighters, Cat Stevens, Stone Temple Pilots, AFI, 80's pop music, 90's alternative rock. My favorite song ever is "Interstate Love Song" by Stone Temple Pilots, if you don't like this song, then I'm going to look at you weird.
Six things I could never do without
my family and friends
a fully stocked kitchen
iced tea
a comfy recliner
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Food, TV and movie quotes, music, my friends and family, trying to figure out myself and those around me, new possible hobbies, things I don't know or understand and trying to better comprehend them, new recipes, what I want to eat.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working late, but when I get out, I love hanging out with friends and laughing our asses off.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I know all the words to the Journey: greatest hits album.
