My self-summary
Life is an adventure - I enjoy meeting people who want to share it. I enjoy a challenge, and I'm the type of person who can't wait to see what's around the next bend.

I'm ambitious, upbeat, and discerning.

I 'm an optimist.

I live a life that includes lots of laughter, and many wonderful people. I've never been married, and I'm not religious. I'd rather go to a museum than a football game. I'd rather talk about science and technology or international economics than talk about who I voted for in the last election.

I'm focused on my career, which I deeply enjoy, but I always make certain to leave room for the good things in life. If you get to know me, you'll learn that my word is my bond; integrity is very important.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a Stock Broker, having worked for the same brokerage firm since 2008. I absolutely love it. A few years ago I went to Culinary Arts school to become a chef, and while I love to cook, the financial industry is definitely a better professional fit for me. I'm currently pursuing a degree in business management.

I've been travelling a lot over the last few years, which has been a riot.
I’m really good at
Knowing when to be laid back, and when to kick it into high gear.

I'm a social person, and I really enjoy getting together with groups of people. I'm definitely an extrovert.

I'm good at spotting the value in the people around me.

Grammar - mostly because I enjoy writing, and collaborating on various projects.

I'm good at asking the right questions. I love figuring things out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm tall. I'm broad shouldered, and I frequently get asked if I play football. Sports really isn't my thing though.

I love good banter, and my own brand of humor is present in nearly every interaction. I'm also constantly questioning and evaluating everything I see, which people tend to notice.

I'm happy. I live a good life, and I'm told that it is written on my face.

I like cooking breakfast food, and have been known to make some pretty amazing French Toast.
The six things I could never do without
I have often said that I must have three things in order to feel like a complete and productive person: a job, a phone, and a car. But here's a list of a few other things that I totally love -

Wikipedia. (seriously)
My core friend group. (they are awesome)
My little sister. (possibly the best person I know)
Travel (I have serious case of wanderlust)
Books (traditional or audio)
The Gym (especially during the winter)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything that I encounter - I love to evaluate and examine anything that crosses my path. Maybe that means that I think too much, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Recent Discussions - I think about social dynamics and enjoy reflecting on conversations with my friends. It's a great way to be introspective.

Science and Technology - I'm a bit of nerd. I follow io9.com, as well as Gizmodo.com and I love thinking about the ways that emerging tech changes the world. I also love geeky things of all kinds.

Social issues - I'm a humanist, and I love reading about the many perspectives available on social issues of all kinds. My favorite feminist is Anita Sarkeesian, and I a huge fan of The Economist.
On a typical Friday night I am
With a group of people. We're usually gathering at my house and playing games, or out on the town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I kinda like to break the rules... just a little.

Other than that - ask me, and I'll probably tell you. I love conversation, but not when it's all one-sided; I also want to learn about the person I'm talking to.
