Me: Caring, educated, genuine, open minded, and fun.
I'm always up for trying new restaurants (I'm kind of a foodie) or bars, checking out a museum exhibit or taking a day trip out of the city. Though I like to keep busy, it can be done at home too; I love cooking and watching a good horror movie. And I don't mind a quite night doing a puzzle or reading with a glass of wine or coffee from my French press (love that thing).
Him: Mature, honest, financially independent, open minded, and kind.
I enjoy people who can make me laugh and who can hold a good conversation about anything really. A man who enjoys getting out and doing fun stuff in or out of the city or can sit next to me while we just read or watch tv is a definite plus too.
Hopefully someone out there feels I'm a good fit for them! And soon...I'm sick of these damn sites!
I do also like smart dialogue!
Thrillers/Horror: James Bond, Taken, Underworld, Paranormal Activity, Halloween, Saw, most superhero movies
Comedy: Bad Mom's, Forgetting Sara Marshall, Bridesmaids, Zombieland, and most 80s movies
Girly movies: Dirty Dancing, Twilight, Love Actually, and Say Anything, Pitch Perfect, and the ocassional Hallmark movie
Books: mostly historical fiction, sci-fi sometimes, or crime/mystery novels. Once in a while a good romance. I also have a subscription to New York magazine.
T.V.: My current faves are Riverdale, How to Get Away with Murder, Mom, The Big Bang Theory, The Royals, Big Brother, and Life in Pieces, How I Met Your Mother, and Golden Girls (there, I put it out there!)
Music: Top 40...other specifics include Ellie Goulding, Avicci, Taylor Swift, Nirvana, Oasis, Sam Cooke, Fleetwood Mac, Ottis Redding, Bryan Adams, The Beatles
People who don't like different kinds of food make me sad! Some of my favs: Sushi, dim sum, steak, anything Italian, Mexican, Thai, Mediterranean, and a really good slice of pizza or cheeseburger every now and then.
3. My cell phone (mainly for the gps, I get lost!)
4. My friends, family and two cats (multiple parts of the same category)
5. Music or NPR in the car (depending on what time of day)
6. Coffee in the morning
