My self-summary
Terribly liberal, technologically proficient and vaguely arty British ex-patriot living in San Francisco since 2008.

Chatty, toppy, unheteronormative and polyfied (with adequate space on my dance card to be putting myself out there).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a productive member of society! At last! My mum is terribly proud.
I’m really good at
Not being a creeper (but playing one on TV). Giving advice that I don't follow. Jacking many trades, mastering not-so-many. Talking a good game. Ascertaining who is a douchebag, and avoiding them. Worrying about whether or not I'm a douchebag. Smoking. Giving up smoking. Smoking again. Not stopping until it's fixed, long after anybody cares if it's fixed or not. Carrying on the joke in the hope the guy not getting it will start getting it if I take it far enough into ridiculous territory.

Once upon a time I was a pretty good battle emcee, with a thumb or 2 in the spoken word scene. Kind of fell out of that about the same time I feel into adult media production - but I may trip back into it someday. I can be convinced to freestyle when drunk, but don't tell me I told you that.

Beyond that it's probably best to look me up on Fetlife. Same username as here.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hoodie matches my sneakers* and I have a fairly noticeable facial scar on my left cheek.

I was bitten by a dog when I was a kid. It's lucky that I smile a lot (a lot more than in the pictures I have uploaded here actually), because when my face is in it's natural relaxed state I look like I'm going to kill you.

*Yes. I don't wear latex all the time. I just don't seem to have as many pictures of me in streetwear...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I mostly read interwebs nowadays. I'm smart though, I promise.

I enjoy terrible movies of various genres. Also some legitimately good ones.

(Can I bring myself to put "The Secretary" here as one of my favourite films? I mean, I appreciate it as a way to drop a hint - but I just didn't think it was that great. And no, not just because I don't want to admit how often and alarmingly true to life those tropes often are. Okay, fine, mostly that.)

When it comes to music (and it has) I like everything south of funk. Luckily, that includes a whole lot of stuff. I'm not so into your beardy guitar musics. Sorry.
Six things I could never do without
Interweb enabled device;
Surgical gloves;
I spend a lot of time thinking about
It might be easier to tell you what I /don't/ spend a lot of time thinking about. Which would be not much.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spent the best part of the last decade living a very public private life. Google is your friend.
You should message me if
You want to chat on the phone while I do my laundry.
