My self-summary
Its 2016, I am 31 and feel as if it is time to get real with my life. I am a nice, funny. hard working and family oriented dude that likes to have fun and go out, see the sights around town, or maybe just a movie. I am on here because I am looking for my best friend, my partner, the women who I will spend the rest of my life with. No games, 100% real and ready to live the "American Dream". If this isn't you, that's OK, no pressure. I get plenty of visits to my page, but not many messages, and that's OK. If it is you I hope you send me a message... or else how would I know?
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment I am working on building a future for myself and a potential family, as well as dabbling a little bit with making videos for youtube.
I’m really good at
I am really good at pop culture knowledge, if that makes any sense. I worked at Blockbuster for more than half a decade so my mind is like a sponge for movie and pop culture information. I hear or read a news story once about maybe even something I don't even care about, but it stays in there. I am willing to bet I can impress you with how much pointless information I know.

Oh yeah, by the way I am also a pretty great cook. That's what you were wanting to see, right?
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing people usually notice about me is a mixture of my sense of humor and how nice and polite I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am a movie buff, which could lead to a long list of just movies, let alone all the other things in this category. So, I will give you the things that I have enjoyed so far here in 2016:

I havent seen many movies this year but out of the ones I have, Zootopia really stuck with me. It is so much more than the CGI Disney film that it is. It is a movie about overcoming racism, it deals with drug use, it is surprisingly adult but masked as children entertainment. It was great. I also enjoyed the new Jungle Book movie, deadpool of course, and Eddie The Eagle.

TV shows, Mr. Robot is great at the moment. Ballers, Empire, Power, Bojack Horseman, and of course... Game of Thrones.

My favorite band of all time is and always will be Incubus. I also enjoy muse, Twenty One Pilots, In This Moment, and I am a sucker for some System of A Down.

But I listen to everything. Currently on repeat on my iPhone is new albums from Logic and Gucci.

Of course I am plowing my way through the newest Harry Potter, The Cursed Child, but I am also reading Mr. Mercedes from Stephen King and Zoo 2 from James Patterson.

Food... I got into stuff I never liked before this year. Avocados, grapefruit, spinach. I can see myself going towards a more healthy lifestyle as my taste buds seem to be craving the healthier foods now. Only time will tell.
The six things I could never do without
1. God. God should always be number one, even if it is a struggle to make him be.
2. Friends. My friends are my family.
3. Family. Family will always be there.
4. The Internet. We live in a world now where living without the internet would feel like being completely cut off from the world.
5. My phone. Smartphones are essential in this century. It's not just a fun device to play games and talk on, it is a tool, a Swiss Army knife for the 21st century if you will.
6. My health. I am working on being healthier.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everyone has regrets, everyone has those "what if" thoughts, and I am no different. I think I really think the most about how I can better myself, or better my current situation at the time. I believe that saying, "I might not be where I planned on being, but I am right where I am supposed to be right now", and I live by that.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I work that night I am going right home and going to sleep, but if I had the day off I may head out to St. Louis and check out whats going on out there. My partying days are behind me but I still like to go out and be social.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
