I'm odd in a pleasant manner, or so I assume. Self conscious but happy to play extrovert at suitable times fitting the scenario.
I like to have fun and party but I also enjoy more sedate pursuits like walking in the country, cycling too. If the spring stays promising I've planned to cycle the canal from Glasgow to Edinburgh but I may have to wait and see how the weather is before I take on the challenge.
I am focussed and determined to try and achieve goals I set myself but rarely share them with others. Although I may talk a lot my personal views and opinions tend to stay private. I am independent and a liberal with the view it is not my place to condemn or condone any-ones beliefs or actions. Probably why I appreciate that I can be a pacifist and still have strong convictions. I tend to argue my way out of difficult situations in the worst and persuade at best. A talented talker I enjoy debates and have even helped out a friend on his pod cast.
I'm complicated and humour is my first defence. Onions have nothing on me.
On a constant mission to educate myself and life long learning is a passion albeit more passive one for me. I'm dyslexic so structured teaching tends to leave me flummoxed but I do read and try to learn as much as I can about the world about me.
Written word is probably my worst means of communication but it is not devoid of any meaning to me; I just struggle with it.
Thinking of investing in audio books but wondering good providers to allow me to become more 'well read'.
