My self-summary
"If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first
invent the universe."
--Carl Sagan

I am a kung fu panda with a minor in ninja. I'm usually at karate 3-4 nights a week, but sub out karate for lifting, climbing, yoga, or drinking sometimes.

I think I'm pretty flexible, but I don't know if I actually am or it seems so because I have short limbs.

Currently on fun withdrawal and contemplating on planning a big trip where I just travel until I run out of money. Conversely, I could try and get a job such that I can live every day as if I am on vacation, but I'm having a bit of trouble with that at the moment.

If you can help me in any of these endeavors, let me know! :)

A smattering of my interests are
martial arts, tech, politics, travel, and food.
What I’m doing with my life
On that 9-5 grind, trying to convince my boss I'm not a complete idiot.

In the meantime I'm teaching and doing karate, lifting, climbing, doing yoga, going down the reddit rabbit hole, and trying to finish any of the courses I start on Coursera. Also quasi-studying for the GRE, so if you want a study buddy, hit me up!
I’m really good at
Pretending to know how to do things, convincing everyone that I'm much cooler than I actually am, learning languages, knowing random facts, saying semi-plausible things with a completely straight face, baking killer raspberry dark chocolate brownies, making friends, and being rather comfortable in what normal people think are extremely awkward situations.

I also have a strange knack for being a bit snarky while at the same time maintaining really close friends who love me anyway. :)

Evidently I'm also a good karate instructor now, which is surprising to me. Go figure.
The first things people usually notice about me
Pretty eyes, DAT ASS, and hey! She's really short. But we'll overlook that because she seems awesome. :)

Drunk people seem to like my "aura." I have received this compliment on multiple occasions and am somewhat baffled by it.

Carl Sagan makes me jizz in my pants. I've recently gotten into reading a lot of theory of knowledge stuff, and I love it. :D

The six things I could never do without
1. My brain
2. Water
3. Food
4. Physical activity
5. The ability to be creative (life would suck without creativity)
6. People (Why do you think hermits end up the way they are?)

I've realized most people have more frivolous lists, but I was trying to be logical.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Sex. Who doesn't?

But also, what I'm going to do with the rest of my life, and how I should really start studying for the GRE...

I really spend a lot of time thinking about how everything in the world boils down to math, chemistry, and applied physics, and being sad that most people don't see the wonder in our world. :_(

I've realized how many things I will die not knowing. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO KNOW.

Also, I spend time in the car wondering what other people do after work if they don't have a hobby, or go don't go to the gym. I guess people go home and hang out with their significant others, but that's why we're here, right?
On a typical Friday night I am
At a karate workout, going out to eat after, and then usually loitering in a parking lot for a while. Like, a long while. Sometimes longer than we spent in the actual restaurant.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been on this site for so long I nearly messaged someone before remembering that we had already gone out once and never again.
You should message me if
You're smart, a nice person, and passionate about something in life. :)

You don't mind the calluses on my hands and would like to go climbing. And are belay certified to climb at EarthTreks.
