My self-summary
Software Development, Sci-fi. The many excellent television dramas that have popped up in the last 15 years (Who am I kidding, 20 - The Wire and X-files).

I love food, and as soon as I'm done with classes (Graduating computer science student) in 5 weeks, I will be back in the kitchen preparing it much more. Until then, I can walk 2 blocks to Lowry and Central NE and feast upon Taco Riendo or Senn yai Senn lek to tide me over.

I've been making water infused with strawberries from my garden, cucumber, ginger root, a few halved grapes, fresh mint, and a bit of basil. It is amazing.

Songwriting is awesome, but as I get deeper into my involvement with mobile (Android mostly) and game development, I've been getting interested in doing some foley (sound design) stuff.

I like projects. I always have a few. Lately they are mostly various types of software, but I also enjoy designing and building mediocre but unique pieces of furniture for my place, and generally speaking I tend to get pretty jazzed by working on anything that has a clear vision and a driven "leader". Recruit me if your idea is awesome!

Games and puzzles rule. Flux, chess, Go, Catan and much more.
I would love to find somebody who would be happy sitting at Diamond's for the afternoon with a game of Go. One of my favorite things to do in go is to collaborate with your opponent rather than directly compete, discussing possible placements rather than heads-down competing.

I love going out to new restaurants. I stream way too much media since I got ChromeCast.

I wish I understood super-massive black holes.
What I’m doing with my life
Writing code, words, and codewords, rubbing elbows with the twin cities web dev elite. Eating a lot of hot peppers. Drinking infused water.
Rediscovering my child-like wonder.

Trying and failing to make it to the MIA.
Addendum: I totally did make it to the MIA, and it was fun as ever. This time one of the period rooms was rebuilt piece by piece from a hunting lodge that was owned by the Tudors. Henry the 8th probably spilled some sort of gravy on the very spot i was standing.
The first things people usually notice about me
Intense. Too serious. Too silly.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This is a single field?

Books: "I Dreamed I Was a Very Clean Tramp" the Richard Hell Autobiography Less recently finished: Kafka on the shore by Murakami, Solar Lottery by Phillip K. Dick. I enjoy different stuff for different reasons but I've always kind of been a geek for sci-fi, philosophy, and I'm always on the lookout for an inspiring and depressing rock and roll bio.

I'm finishing a computer science degree, so a great deal of my reading right now consists of systems analysis, distributed and parallel algorithms, and software engineering design patterns. I find it all really fascinating, but I don't expect you to.

I read NYT on Sunday (I get it delivered here anyway), but recently I have been getting back into RSS feed subscription.

Movies (no remakes): When a stranger calls, Black Christmas, Rosemary's Baby, Anatomy of a Murder, Rear Window, The Omen, Antichrist, Memento, Pi, The Ninth Gate, Death to Smoochy, Mullholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Hellraiser, Star Wars, Drugstore Cowboy, Naked Lunch, Videodrome. Bladerunner,

Love Richard Hell in Television and Voidoids, met him when he was in town got his book signed <3.

I've got a bunch of 60s and 70s classic rock and soul records I dug out from my family storage, and I would like to try to make it through those.

Food: Bold flavours. I eat sushi with a masochistic amount of Wasabi, Maximum spice in my curry. I have a few things that don't appeal to me, but in general I like everything from Thai, Cuban, Mexican, Soul food, Classic Cheeseburgers done right, bistro food, french cooking, seafood, Tibetan, Ecuadorian and fusion if it's conceptually sound and executed properly. In general, if it's done well (and isn't something like lutefisk ) I'm totally into it.
More Salt and Saffron.
The six things I could never do without

2. Pals.
3. My sister and my mother
4. Rock and Roll.
5. Board and Video Gaming (PC, xbox, and classic console emulation)
6. Yummy and varied foodstuffs... Constantly.

On a typical Friday night I am
Work, homework, Rock and Roll, reading, gaming. Getting weird.
