My self-summary
Young professional working for myself. Living the dream!

Family is the most important thing to me. I have four siblings and they are the absolute best. Can't imagine life without them.

I'm poly! Currently in a relationship with a beautiful girl. I realize that's a dealbreaker for some of you, but I want to be clear and upfront about that.

I'm slightly obsessed with coffee. I love it. I also have strong opinions about it (3rd wave light roast acidic-to-the-point-of-vinegar can rot in a fire. Smooth & rich dark roast is life.)

Note: depending on when you meet me I may have a beard/longer hair. I've been going through phases where sometimes I'll grow it out for a while before cutting it again. If you are curious about the current style just ask me for a pic!
What I’m doing with my life
So many things!! I spend a lot of time on my business, but I also love to get involved with the community. My partner and I really really really want to make more friends in the area!

I love to play hockey, as well as tennis, soccer, and racquetball. Favorite activity though might be simple contemplative walks through nature.
I’m really good at
Finding something I want to get better at.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am what you could call a "humanist." Above all else, I like people who are good to other people. This actually isn't the first thing you would notice about me, but it may be the most important
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
the usual eclectic mix. we probably even have a little bit of overlap somewhere, but not too much because that would just be awkward

Seriously though. Love music. I listen to Spotify regularly and have a fairly large cd and record collection. My main Spotify playlist, which I have been building since 2011, has around 50 hours of music these days. I also have over 20 genre playlists I've built. Altogether I have over 300 hours of custom-built playlists. I really hope Spotify doesn't go out of business...

I enjoy listening to podcasts while I work too. Some favorites: Dan Carlin's Hardcore History, Snap Judgement, Invisibilia, Radiolab, Serial, This American Life, Love + Radio, Stuff You Should Know

I love to cook! Treat me nice and I'll feed you :) My specialty is fried rice. If you've never had it home-cooked by someone that knows what they are doing you are in for a treat. No restaurant does it the right way because its too time-intensive. You gotta use cold rice and really fry the shit out of it to get the desired crispy/chewy texture. And never, ever, forget the sesame oil.

I liked Game of Thrones before it was cool.
Six things I could never do without
books, chapstick, toothbrush, notebook...coconuts

Why coconuts? Well, if you are ever stranded on a island, better hope you have coconuts! They are the single most useful and versatile plant you could hope to find. They will be a reliable source of hydration and nutrition while you get settled in, and a staple crop indefinitely after.

And they are fucking delicious.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Living my life the way I want to live it. Although absolute self-determination obviously is impossible (and frankly, would probably be boring, if we want to be real honest about it) I feel most people still err on the side of being the person others want them to be. Its weird, yet often rational, though kinda sucky. I like people that are out there trying to break molds and barriers.
On a typical Friday night I am
curing cancer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spend a lot of time thinking about trend reversals and the dead cat bounce. Sounds fun right? Most people find it boring, but its a big part of the trading I do.
You should message me if
what have you got to lose? Just do it :)
