My self-summary
I'll start by saying that, while I'm originally from
Santa Monica, California, I've lived in Chicago for 8 years now.
While I would consider myself a liberal, I'm open to the opinions of others. I would say I'm more of an old soul, but I'm not a
douchebag about it (or at least I hope I'm not). Also, I'm very INFJ.

I sing and act, but I'm NOT what you would call "artsy." I just
love to perform is all. I am an extremely playful individual, and
have a dry sense of humor. I've been known to be very sarcastic and I'd like to think that I'm witty. I also LOVE people watching and psycho-analyzing, with tends to go hand-in-hand with my sense of humor. Because I love to analyze, I have a fondness for in-depth discussions. I enjoy talking about philosophy, human behavior, morality, and just life in general (blah, blah, blah).

I don't necessarily enjoy going to clubs, but if you dragged me to one, I suppose I'd indulge you. If anything, I prefer going to bars, and only when I can hear people. I'm both an indoors and outdoors person. While I love playing video games, reading, watching television and films, and surfing the internet, I equally enjoy hiking, going to the beach, walking through the park, and just taking in the surrounding nature. I sometimes enjoy the simple things in life.

In a nutshell, I guess I would say that I'm:
smart (but not pretentious)
energetic (without being flighty)
honest (sometimes to a fault)
I love people (with all their quirks)
but, most of all, I'd like to think that I'm not
(wouldn't we all).

I'm leaving it at that, because I think an online description
isn't as useful as talking to a person (and also 'cause I'm
What I’m doing with my life
I studied music (specifically, singing) at DePaul University. You'd be surprised how rigorous a music school can be.

I've always been a performer, and I love to entertain people. If you're happy, I'm happy.

Recently I've been training in kickboxing. For me, it's a fun way to stay active both mentally and physically.
I’m really good at
Singing, Acting, Writing, Drawing, Analysis/Reading people (and then apparently just ignoring what I've surmised)
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor (or lack thereof).

My genuine compassion and energy.

The fact that I smile a lot. I've been told by a lot of people that I have a beautiful smile (whatever the hell that means).

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. I think about EVERYTHING. It may not always be what people WANT me to be thinking at the time, but the wheels of my mind are always turning. Chugga, Chugga . . .

But I have been trying to practice "mindfulness," which I find helps to center me, and quiet the ramblings of my mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have big hands, I guess. But it's not like it's a secret (although I suppose it is if you can't see them).

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with. Can't really think of anything else.

-You are genuine.

-You are insightful.

-You are not an axe-murderer

Also, while I like people who are able to be serious, be forewarned: if you are super serious, and cannot make fun of yourself, I will CUT you. ;)
