My self-summary
I find it hard to summarize myself in a single paragraph, half a paragraph at most is all I need, just kidding. I am a generally shy person, I can make small talk with strangers, but I tend to loosen up quite a bit after I get to know someone. I have a great sense of humor that ranges from the simple, 'A man walks into a bar, ouch!', to the more complex, 'A neutron orders a drink at the bar, the neutron asks how much he owes, the bartender says, for you, no charge.' I am a fairly laid back, easy-going guy, who tries to enjoy the simple things in life, including anything from just sitting and having a simple conversation about the secrets of the universe to the complex activity of sitting outside and watching the clouds blow by. I enjoy just about anything as long as I am with the right person to enjoy it with.
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently taking a break from school to make some money and seeing where that takes me. I might end up with a job that I enjoy and decide to stick with it or I might go back to school, only time will tell. Time is fluid, the future ever changing as a surface of a pond, you can only know what will happen when it finally happens. I plan to enjoy life, experience many new things and see where I fit in the grand scheme of things.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at listening. I have been told numerous times that I am a very good listener and when it is needed, I say exactly the right things to make those around me feel better. I am really good a keeping calm in stressful situations to be able to think things through to find the best solution. I have also been told that I am a talented artist, with decent gaming skillz.
The first things people usually notice about me
Some of the first things that people notice about me, I think, is that I am nice, friendly, funny, but fairly shy until you get to know me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I would say that my favorite books are anything Sci-fi, Fantasy, or Horror, anything by Karen Traviss, and right now I am reading A Dance of Dragons by George R. R. Martin from the same series as the book and show Game of Thrones. The same applies to movies and shows, I like most things that are Sci-fi, Fantasy, or Horror, but I also like Comedies and Adventures like Community, with the occasional Romantic movie or show mixed in. I also like Cartoons and Anime such as South Park, Simpsons, Bleach, Naruto, Pokemon. My favorite music is mostly anything with a good beat, I grew up with Meatloaf, the Rolling Stones, and CCR, but right now I listen to Tenacious D, Aerosmith, and Lonely Island. Some people say that I can be picky with my food, but I find that I will at least try anything once and I will reserve the right to refuse to eat it ever again if I so choose.
Six things I could never do without
The six things that I could never do without would have to be:
1. My family
2. My friends
3. My pets
4. Books
5. Oxygen
6. Cartoons
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I guess that I spend a lot of time thinking about the future. What do I want to do with my life, how am I going to accomplish my goals, that sort of thing. I also think about what it would be like if the world was invaded by aliens or got hit by a zombie outbreak. How long would I survive? With the aliens, I would be the first one to surrender and help them take over the world. What? You know you'd do the same! Just kidding, I'd probably fight if I could. For the zombie outbreak, I would just be thinking on where I would have to go in order to find a cricket bat. Besides my future, I end up thinking about whats going to happen next in the few stories that I'm writing. I like writing, because I'm the type who imagines or daydreams alot so I figure that maybe I should write some of it down and see where it goes from there.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most friday nights I am; getting together with my friends to hang out or something, fighting the forces of evil throughout the universe, or preparing for a zombie apocalypse while watching cartoons.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
For many years, when I was very young, I was very scared of the dark and of being alone as a result of accidentally walking into the house while Ernest Scared Stupid was on the tv, right at the part after the girl checks under her bed, she rolls over in her bed and ends up face to face with the troll, it roars and then turns her into a little wooden doll. Scared me for years until I watched so many horror movies that I wasn't scared anymore, or at least not as much.
