There was a time when I traveled quite often (lived in at least 1 place every year from 17-23~) and I've never been overseas (yet!). As a recent transplant, I'm starting fresh in a very large place and I am totally embracing my inner noob.
I'm up for some exploration and discovery - finding common ground would be great!
Getting in the car together (no plans, no map) and just driving, taking turns choosing directions. Planning is great too! Finding hole-in-the-wall restaurants, shops, talking up people (or just observing together). You know, building memories!
With all of that said, I'm not terribly critical. I'd rather not try to define "it". What do you think?
With that foundation in place, I get to focus on staying close with my family and expanding my interests.
When out and about, just going with it, I enjoy chatting with all walks of life and getting beyond small talk. I've heard really interesting stories just by starting with "Hello" on the street or in the elevator.
As an information-driven person, I really appreciate details; you'll sometimes catch me thinking a lot. I laugh at myself sometimes for remembering the weirdest (or most obscure) things.
I just like doing my best to maintain or find the positive in things - and I'm still finding new things that amaze me.
- The Internet is a Playground
- Mostly Harmless (Hitchhiker's Guide)
- Dwell, Wired, and GQ
- Cristino's in Clearwater is tied with Pizaro's in Houston for "Best Margherita Pizza"
Anything that speaks to the above is where you'll find me.
I'd really like to grow with someone, becoming best friends and finding them to be very special.
If you enjoy the "focus" of dating - that goal of long-term and understanding if things could be built beyond that - then I think we'll figure it out :)
