I'm Andrew. Seems I've spent half my life waiting to meet the person I'll spend the rest of it with.
Hoping Ok Cupid may help this happen...
This doesn't mean I'm after perfection. Actually, perhaps I am, just not in that impossible, unobtainable and probably quite plastic and unsatisfying way, I mean; 'perfect together'. I believe, when the right people are together, they're better than one plus one. They're two and a bit.
I believe it's worth holding out for the right person. However long it takes!! Still, I'm keeping an open mind and some of my briefest encounters have shown me the best things.
I like doing stuff and I'm generally interested. I need someone who shares a curiosity for life.
This is my seventh summer in Bristol. I've found my place. I run my own firm, we're a close team of two and flat out busy. For the first time I feel I can influence my future. That feels pretty good.
I've seen a little of the world and want to see more, ideally with someone. Off to Kerala in November with friends. I'd love to see a little of Russia.
I try get to a couple of festivals most years and I can still just about pull an all nighter.
Outside of work I'm active, reasonably sociable and I like getting outdoors. I do like riding a bike.
I'm also up for making new friends so give me a shout if we seem to be into the same stuff.
Hoping this offers some sense of me. I'm about as easy going and friendly as it gets, so please surprise me if you feel some spark of recognition here and drop me a hint. A
NB. I only have the free version, so please message me as I can't see any 'likes'.
Movies: anything epic, beautiful, daft, poignant or gets you thinking. Silent sonata, berberian sound studio, Paris Texas, wake in fright, buitiful, harvie krumpet, act of killing, black cat white cat, nikita, into the wild, big lebowski, there's bloody loads of favourites and a hundred I've forgotten!
Books: always got something on the go. All sorts really.
TV shows: comedy and documentaries mostly. Question time, antiques roadshow, dinner date, you've been framed, family guy. Not really into football, don't get computer games. Can't stand celeb culture or anything fake.
Food: er, did someone say food? :)
