I also lack a sense of smell because of a minor medical condition, it has it's pros and cons. :P
I have a cat, but I grew up with dogs so I don't have a personal preference.
I don't have a TV, but I do enjoy a few shows, both running, cancelled and finished:
24, Dexter, Doctor Who, Family Guy, Futurama, Grotesco, Heroes, Lost, South Park, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc.
I watch a lot of movies and I'm not that picky (after watching a lot of B-grade horror, you kinda loosen up ;)). If you're interested in my movie taste my page on Filmtipset should give you a pretty accurate picture: http://nyheter24.se/filmtipset/yourpage.cgi?member=89748
I think a lot. About the world in general, about space, time and reality as we perceive it and also as we don't perceive it. I like thinking about higher dimensions and giving myself a headache by trying to visualize them.
I think about the futility of human life, that in a million years there will probably be no trace of us ever existing. Either from our own doing or some cataclysmic event, like when the sun expands to a red giant consuming the earth. I end up asking myself if anything I do actually matters, if anything anyone does actually matters. And in this perspective; no, it doesn't.
So I try to live my life with this in mind, it's pretty nihilistic but that doesn't mean I go around being an asshole to everyone, I just don't take things very seriously. So I guess I'm an existentialist. I actually think one of the mistakes people do is taking things - and especially themselves - too seriously. To quote the Comedian: "It's all a joke."
We are born from stardust and we will end up as stardust, so why worry?
Also, I can ramble a lot.
