My self-summary
-I once submitted a Master’s thesis proposal on craft brewery development as a joke...then had to write it.

-I'm usually active/working out 4-5 times a week but I'll still accept pizza eating contest challenges.

-I'm from Hawai'i. I'd die without the ocean and imagine Sanka from Cool Runnings in cold weather.

-Love sports, playing everything from tennis to hockey and I'll wake up at 4AM for Arsenal/Dodgers/Redwings.

-I've also embraced my inner nerd. Love Star Wars, binged ST: DS9 on Netflix, read science fiction, and think Firefly was canceled prematurely.

- Passionate about environmental conservation and social justice. Relaxed about everything else.
What I’m doing with my life
Enjoying it. I like to be active and travel but also take time to breath and relax.
I’m really good at
Crashing my bicycles and laughing about it, cooking breakfast and baking the worlds greatest pineapple upside down cake, and being moderately good at almost any athletic activity (especially tennis, hockey, or soccer).
The first things people usually notice about me
Ha this question is awesome. How am I supposed to know this? Lets see well I always get asked for my ID when I buy age restricted items and the guy behind the counter just met me, therefor I must look exceptionally young. Yup that sounds right.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have pretty eclectic tastes and try to give every thing a chance. That's said here's a few things;

-Lots of books: The Magic of Reality, Ambitious Brew, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, Of Mice and Men.

-Movies: The Departed, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, The Princess Bride, and a lot of documentaries.

-T.V.: Newsroom, Game of Thrones, West Wing, Parks and Rec., Scrubs, The Wire, Firefly, Chuck.

-Music: Everything. Opera<->Rap

-Food: Indian, Mexican, and Italian top the list but just about everything really.
The six things I could never do without
-the beach (warm sand and that beach smell)
-my bikes (I will ride just about anywhere at any time)
-my brothers (they mostly get a shout-out for not killing their little brother)
-books (because I need another thing to distract me from being productive)
-baked goods (seriously, any baked good)
-and apparently the letter "b"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why aren't bicycles used more in dystopian apocalyptic future scenarios, and food...always food.
On a typical Friday night I am
Honestly? Probably deadlifting at the gym and then Netflix. I try to do fun stuff on weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Like a true man I loved Les Miserables and find mimes to be terrifying creatures.
