"The Geography of Bliss"... so good...made me want to go to Bhutan and Iceland. I just finished reading Life by the Cup, a beautiful self-help guide via memoir. If you love tea, it's worth a read...which reminds me how much I loved Three Cups of Tea.
Oh, and if you want a metaphor for life, I don't think anything sums it up better than The Wizard of Oz. We all have to figure out our own path.
Big Screen: I love Cohen Bros. movies, especially 'The Hudsucker Proxy'. I love the concepts behind the movies 'Sliding Doors' and 'Match Point'...I love thinking about how life could be different with one small change.
Small Screens: Occasionally I enjoy watching TED talks... Specifically the two on Vulnerability, so fascinating. Also Discovery channel and those heavy duty science and space programs about how the Earth could be eliminated any moment, how complex and vast deep space and time are, as well as how unlikely we are to exist at all and in this moment in time together. Anytime the world is too much, I watch these and my silly little problems are diminished greatly. Currently catching up on Downton Abbey & OITNB.
Food: I eat everything and have just a few minor aversions...I love to try new things and even would try things I don't normally like. Growing up I was dubbed by my parents their, "little gourmet"...of course who uses that term anymore?
Music: I quite an eclectic taste although gravitate toward the synth alt rock styles. I love classical, blue grass, Cajun, mushroom jazz, pop, and r&b, as well as open to new styles. I am sooo... in love with Silversun Pickups these days (with a major girl crush on Nikki)!! Also a fan of: The Smiths, Depeche Mode, 10,000 Maniacs/Natalie Merchant, Radiohead, Tame Impala, Chris Isaak (who btw is on my wish list of celebs to fuck), MGMT, Amy Winehouse, Tori Amos, Alt-J, Of Monsters and Men, Chvrches, The Drums, Christine and the Queens
...to name a few.
Also for fun; why is it so hard to find women for repeat threesomes? I love them!!
