My self-summary
I'm a happy-go-lucky Midwestern guy, who moved out here for college and has been loving every minute of it. I'm goofy and laid-back, and I have a serious passion for life. I love my couch, but I like to really earn a night lazing on it, with a full day out and about. Skiing, hiking, farmers markets, dogwalks, new restaurants, LIVE MUSIC, bike rides, new breweries, all that jazz. Count me in. Looking for a laid-back girl to join in adventures, and keep my smart-ass sense of humor in check (or bonus points for trying to one-up me).
What I’m doing with my life
Working hard all week, playing hard on the weekends. Trite, but true.
I’m really good at
People watching, correcting people's spelling and grammar mistakes, and most importantly, banter. I love me some clever banter.
The first things people usually notice about me
My ADD. Then, probably my perpetual sarcasm. Oh, and my ADD.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm a total music nerd: everything from jazz to indie rock, bluegrass to jam bands, and of course, almost every song from the 90s..
Books: Bill Bryson or Chuck Klosterman, Shadow of the Wind, Game of Thrones. And of course Harry Potter.
Movies: Lebowski, Almost Famous, and High Fidelity are the all-time ultimate top 3, and anything Lord of the Rings.
I love food. Food loves me. I don't discriminate. I love new restaurants, especially inventive and original spots.
The six things I could never do without
My pup
NPR
Las montañas
Dark coffee
Dark beer
Powder days
I spend a lot of time thinking about
everything. Until I get distracted and start thinking about something else.
On a typical Friday night I am
Gallivanting. Or recovering and saving my energy for a Saturday of gallivanting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I talk to my dog in Spanish. Ella lo sabe.
You should message me if
you're into a little bit of everything. Variety keeps me going. New trails, new restaurants, fresh experiences, fresh undies - a recipe for success.
