My self-summary
I spend my days working in corporate marketing for a big tech company. I spend my evenings hanging out with friends in various places around the city, or in my apartment with my cat, Crock-Pot, and cable.

Life has been pretty good to me and I don't take any of it for granted. I have a solid job that I love, absolutely amazing friends, a wonderfully supportive family, and my health. I am not sure who or what I am looking for; new friends are always welcome and someone special would be like cream-cheese frosting on top of this pretty tasty cake of life.
What I’m doing with my life
Chatting with coworkers (in and out of the office), making/eating dinner with my dear and hilarious friends, having a glass of wine over a charcuterie plate, playing Backgammon with my neighbors, hitting up a Giants' game, or listening to any TED lecture. I guess I am taking it, and enjoying it, one day at a time.
I’m really good at
Trivia Nights
Fitting a lot of dishes in a dish-rack
The first things people usually notice about me
-Some embarrassing song blaring out of my headphones
-"Weren't you in some YouTube video?"
-My salting beard

Also, I have a doppleganger running around San Francisco and often get mistaken for him.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by Mary Roach, David Sedaris, or Erik Larson.
Don't really read a lot of fiction.

Robyn, Fleetwood Mac, The XX, Disclosure, Beyonce, Passion Pit, Roisin Murphy, Adele, Seinabo Sey, Jessie Ware, Little Dragon, Quadron, Daft Punk, Human League, Mary J. Blige, Solange, Miike Snow, Alabama Shakes, all Motown, most Disco.

The Neverending Story, Amadeus, Waiting for Guffman (actually, all Christopher Guest films), Clue, St. Vincent, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Fargo, Steel Magnolias, Labyrinth, Love Actually, Selena

Also, huge fan of documentaries and try to watch at least one, if not more, per week.

Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The White Queen, The Golden Girls, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Girls, The Killing, Veep, and I Love Lucy.

My absolute favorite meal is roast chicken...or Mexican food...or Indian. Ok, really, I love everything except papaya. In fact, I can't comprehend how people find papaya enjoyable.
The six things I could never do without
Cooking with/for friends
My family and friends
Access to an Ocean
My glasses
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-What else can I make in my slow-cooker?
-Should I learn Portuguese?
-Is my next international trip New Zealand, Argentina, or Thailand?
On a typical Friday night I am
Pretending that I am up for a big night out with friends when, in reality, all I really want to do is put on some comfortable pants, order food, open some wine and catch-up with my DVR.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I accidentally purchased maternity pants and wore them to a party where I was being set up on a date by a coworker.

(please note, this is the most private thing I am willing to admit here)
