My self-summary
Texas transplant trying to find my way in Seattle. I like to read, play music, and roam the streets for artwork. Monotony leaves me emotionally drained, and I prefer engaging company. I like to understand how things function, so I constantly try to pick apart objects in reality (and mechanically). I am not denominationally religious, but I do feel a deep connection with all things in the Universe and consider myself highly spiritual in this sense. Though I do deeply believe and actively participate in many spiritual activities, I believe hard science is just as important. I am a pretty active person and like to spend as much time as possible outside, hiking or even just lounging about in the sunlight. My Instagram is damaptitsa, I mostly post about my hiking adventures or pretty much anything I find enticing. My personality type is categorized as INFP.
What I’m doing with my life
Working loads so I can get established in Seattle, and completing my computer certifications. Relearning French. I am striving for world peace but I could settle for buying a large camper so I can drive all around the country.
I’m really good at
Building computers, rescuing and nursing animals back to health, cultivating the breath, sarcasm, video games, achieving altered states of consciousness, playing music, driving fast, picking up new instruments, testing and exceeding the limitations of my body, making your animals love me, listening, meowing, disrupting natural order, being strange in general, never updating the essay questions of this profile.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair and my dimples. Or that I can be incredibly awkward.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I have so much literature that I consider amongst my favourites. The easiest book I could explain as a favourite is Clockwork Orange (hence my user name). I really enjoy literature that expands my perception of the world and reality as a whole. Authors and poets include Aldous Huxley, Ram Dass, Ayn Rand, ee cummings, Kurt Vonnegut, Margaret Atwood, Kafka, Dostoyevsky, Charles Bukowski, Tennyson, and Robert Frost because I really enjoy his earlier darker work.

I mostly only really watch stuff when I am lounging with friends or after a really long day. I love indie and horror films, or anything by Quentin Tarantino. Kids, Hard Candy, Trainspotting, Gummo, Natural Born Killers, Fight Club, The Royal Tenenbaums, A Single Man, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Hobo with a Shotgun, Cannibal Holocaust, Hostel, American Beauty, The Kill Bill series, Harold and Maude. If it makes me feel bilious all the better, I believe for any form of art or creative endeavor to truly be exceptional it has to make you feel something. I also enjoy Law and Order SVU, Samurai Champloo, Tokyo Ghoul, Strawberry Panic!, Aoi Hana, Rick and Morty, Moral Orel, and most things from adult swim. I really like documentaries and historical media.

I have a fairly eclectic taste in music, I am drawn to music that creates an emotion whether that be from melody or lyrics. This list is just a small collection of artists I really enjoy. St. Vincent, any project involving Amanda Palmer, King Krule, Foxygen, Of Montreal, CocoRosie, Crystal Castles, Modest Mouse, Animal Collective, Taking Back Sunday, Desaparecidos, Death from above 1979, Palma Violets, Smith Westerns, Wavves, Youth Lagoon, The Mountain Goats, IO Perry, Leftöver Crack, Blonde Redhead, Set Your Goals, SFH, Against Me!

Strawberries, spinach, and kale forever.
The six things I could never do without
Stimulating conversation, my guitar, a good book, pockets, water, and sunlight.

I know the list should only be six things, but above anything else I could not live without animals.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Means of personal improvement.
Who am I now?
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to a show, soothing my muscles after a day of hiking, or binging on some new book or show with friends. Oh yeah, and work sometimes.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I always carry a wand in my car that I occasionally use to direct traffic or classical music.
