My self-summary
My name is Brian, I'm 27. Recent events have changed my view on life. I believe life is best lived for the sake of enjoying life. I do not define my self worth by the money in my bank account, by my social status or by approval from others. I believe defining yourself in transient things leads to problems, as all those conditions are guaranteed to change. I value the beauty of life and nature, and immerse myself in the flow of life.

I am non judgmental and consider any girl a potential partner, since I also do not value them for their money, looks, status, but beacuse they are all wonderful in their own unique way. My personal philosophy of life is simply to live, and enjoy every moment to its fullest.
What I’m doing with my life
I have decided to switch my focus of study to speech language pathology, it is my hope that i can help people with autism and stroke survivors. This is what i truly want to do. I would rather have a job that pays little but makes me happy then a job that pays a lot but makes me unhappy. What is the point of living that way?

I also enjoy 3D graphics/animation (think Pixar, except not as good naturally). I use 3DS Max/Maya/Mudbox and doing architectural renderings, mostly as a hobby though I sometimes sell models or do such work commercially.

As yet another hobby I am interested in creative writing. I love to talk about this, but I don't want to drag this out too much, so feel free to message me if you are interested.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh once they get to know me, creative writing, science, understanding people.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, my jackets (I usually wear bomber jackets in colder months), my hats (no, I don't wear fedoras unless it's part of a costume). Seriously, why did people have to go out and ruin the fedora, it was basically the coolest hat ever?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I enjoy non fiction and the study of consciousness. I love Aldous Huxley and Jiddu Krishnamarti, particularly Huxley's book "The Perennial Philosophy", which really opened my eyes, I enjoy Alan Watts as well, as my view of life is identical to his.

My favorite TV shows and movies are Breaking Bad, Game of thrones and...

TRUE DETECTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Six things I could never do without
Good food
Computers (especially the interwebs)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to understand my experience of life and use my insights to better myself and help those around me. My study of consciousness is one of personal introspection. I love meditation. I believe consciousness is the most intimate thing in our lives, and in order to explore it, we must do so ourselves by looking into the nature of it (analyzing wiith non-judgment all the sensations that make up our experience of life). I love looking at how the external world and internal experience of reality interact with each other.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually going out with friends, although sometimes I enjoy just keeping to myself and reflecting/watching a movie. I think a little bit of solitude is good for a person from time to time! If I do go out, I usually make the most out of it. If I'm going to have fun why not have a lot of fun, right?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I spend a lot of time thinking about consciousness (oddly, it seems like everyone here says this). I can also compulsively go on youtube or wikipedia and spend way too much time there.
You should message me if
You really want to know someone with a very unique and positive view of life.
