Expressive and passionate when I'm interested. I like to tell stories and I think I do a good job telling a funny story. This is where my interest in TV comes in. So many rich and complex stories to explore.
I don't have a plan to my life, I like to just live it and enjoy the moment. I'm not always looking for the next big thing or trying to guess what's going to happen next. Enjoying the journey is what I'm focused on.
I work in tech and love the intersection of tech in everyday life. I'm very much into the user experience when using applications on the web or on the mobile phone.
Instagram is my jam, but I don't have a grip of followers. I overuse hashtags sometimes to see how many stupid brands like my pic. The pics I take tend to be of just the highlights in life and not too many selfies. I take all my own pics as well.
My family pretty much all lives in LA and I'm a native myself. Every jewish holiday we're getting together and eating the right food or not eating food. But we're a big family and i enjoy family dynamics. "Big Goldbergs" and "Fresh Off The Boat" fan.
Tales of the City
The Dan Brown Books
Simon Rich books
I've read a handful of Star Trek Voyager books because I loved the series so much I couldn't bear to see it end
Odd Mom Out or anything Jill Kargen writes as well. (Comedy is a big theme in my reading)
A few great business books like the book from Pixar President, Predictably Irrational. Stuff I get from work or that I hear on a podcast.
(Def an economics theme here. I want to be smarter in this area and always found it fascinating in college, but didn't get a chance to focus on it.)
#1 When Harry Met Sally
#2 Troop Beverly Hills
#3 Back to the Future Trilogy
Vacation (all the old ones and the new one (yes it was very funny and yes I was surprised))
What to Expect When You're Expecting (great cast and yes I know I'm gay)
Burlesque (only for xtina and her singing, bitch can't act)
Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead
The Marrying Man
Minority Report (pinnacle of all UI somehow)
My Life in Ruins
Object of my Affection
Lots of Woody Allen films
Citizen Kane (and all the other films with it, RKO 281 and such)
Sleepless in Seattle (I'm a sucker for a good romcom)
The Running Man (Love a good Arnold action film from the 80s/90s)
Christopher Guest Films (For Your Consideration being the most watched in my collection)
Father of the Bride (A great family movie. I saw part 2 on my 16th birthday)
Miami Rhapsody (Great cast, odd film that no one saw for some reason) I like to watch some movies just because they're in a certain location. Sometimes I feel like a Miami, sometimes it's NY and others it's LA!
TV: (How much time do you have?)
I watch almost nothing of superheroes or comics or overt fantasy. You won't see GoT on my list.
Real Time with Bill Maher (been to a taping)
Fresh off the Boat
You're The Worst
Man Seeking Woman
Lots of Baking/cooking competitions
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Sex and the City
Hollywood Game Night (love Jane Lynch and it reminds me of the 80s gameshow days like Match Game)
