I'm originally from NY, (New City) raised there and in Quebec, which I love. Lived a number of years in Plattsburgh, NY by Lake Champlain (beautiful countryside). Moved to Arizona in '89 and have been here ever since.
I'm a good-natured man, come across as a bit quiet until you get to know me. I'm affectionate and enjoy showing the woman I'm with I'm happy she's there - whether it's that spontaneous kiss in the checkout line or waiting to get into the restaurant, holding hands, little touches and all the nice little things that show each other we're glad to be together. I miss that.
I enjoy cycling, primarily road cycling, hiking ( which I haven't done in way too long; miss Camelback and Squaw Peak ). Motorcycling: just recently bought a new one after a 3 year hiatus, loving getting reacquainted. Love getting out and taking in new sights, shows, plays, (yes - even opera), museums, etc. Would love to find that special someone to do it all with.
"I wish I was a sentimental ornament you hung on,
the Christmas tree,
I wish I was the star that went on top,
... I wish I was the souvenir you kept your house key on"
I make a pretty mean garlic shrimp & pasta (though it's really been a while)
