My self-summary
Well, hello! My name is Kevin and I've lived here in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. I love the beach, quite literally it's my favorite place to be in the world. I enjoy beer and wine tasting, road trips to the Coast with the sunroof open and iPod on shuffle, fancy restaurants with incredible food.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a civil engineer designing highway improvements in National Parks, National Forests and Indian Nations... which means I get to visit some really beautiful places. I own my home in a pleasant, safe, older neighborhood of Vancouver that resembles Northeast Portland.
I’m really good at
Home improvement projects (re-sided ny house, remodeled the bathroom, refinished my attic floor), planning activities... remembering long-ago events in detail... picking clothes that match.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I have a good heart and care about people... that I am bright, capable and financially secure... that I dress well and have a witty, charming sense of humour.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite book of all time: "The Stand" by Stephen King
Favorite movie: "The Butterfly Effect"
Favorite musicians/bands: Colbie Caillat, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles (guess i have a thing for beautiful ladies who can actually sing)
Favorite food: anything Italian!
Favorite TV shows: Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Big Bang Theory, Life In Pieces.
Six things I could never do without
The beach.
Good food and wine.
My home.
My iPod.
Visiting family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
*My own future, what I want for my life in five years… ten years.
*The present… what sorts of people I'd like to get to know right now, and what new adventures to be had with them.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm at home, watching H50 and Blue Bloods on CBS! Saturday's more my night for hanging out... having a beer with friends after Mass or taking in some jazz.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Then it wouldn't be private, now would it?
You should message me if
...you are willing to be present, enjoy whatever connection we share in the moment, and see what magic unfolds.
