My self-summary
If you've played computer games with any regularity in the past 10 years, there is a good chance I've worked on something you've played.

I tend to be the 'play-it-safe' type, huddled in my comfort zone, but I am looking for someone who can help pull me out of it from time to time, while still enjoying the same things I do.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm trying to make the saying "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" work for me.

My experience is in the video game industry, but I've taken up screenwriting as well.
I’m really good at
Planning, plotting, and possibly scheming.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have long hair (though not as long as it is in that picture) and a relaxed expression.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
TV and Movies: Star Trek made between 1980 and 2005, Firefly (and Serenity), Castle (though they've gone off the rails a bit too much recently), Warehouse 13, 30 Rock, Nova, everything Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Music: Nightwish, Delain, Apocalyptica, Blind Guardian, Within Temptation and anything similar. Also classic groups like Journey and The Eagles.

Video Games: Europa Universalis 4, Mass Effect, Factorio, and whatever I happen to have enjoyed playing in the past 2 weeks.
The six things I could never do without
The Scientific Method
Modern British Comedy
knowing that computers always do what you tell them to do, but not necessarily what you want them to do
(real) Ramen
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Evolutionary psychology as it relates to play and fun.

Going back in time, becoming immortal, and creating a secular, pro-science, post-Roman Empire state on the Iberian Peninsula (sorry Visigoths!).
On a typical Friday night I am
Ideally, hanging out with friends sharing some drinks and playing board games.

Usually, at home playing computer games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I play(ed) the Clarinet. Okay, its not really private so much as its not something that comes up very often, to the point that very few people I've meant after high school know about it.
You should message me if
You have a Steam account. You aren't Cluster B.
