My self-summary
Hmmm, let's see...I love juggling, debating the finer plot points of Doctor Who on reddit, and reading .pdfs of continental philosophy in my free time (the analytic tradition is for the [reductionist] birds). I would have pictures of myself juggling, but while juggling it's difficult to take pictures. I would have friends take pictures of me juggling, but they prefer to not be seen with the guy who's juggling, and let's be honest--someone debating British sci fi online doesn't have much by way of friends (I kid, I'm pretty well liked actually). Much of my day is spent attempting to keep the strange thoughts in my head, and the rest of the day is spent reading about things on the internet that have no practical relevance to my life. UNC grad, B.S. in Mathematics. No, I don't want to teach I just wanted to put myself in 5 figure debt for functionally useless information about stochastic processes :)

I high key fuck with coffee and drinking said coffee while listening to philosophy podcasts...or trap music.

Also, I'm pretty down with animal rights and I've been steadily phasing out animal products from my life. I don't necessarily care if you eat meat, but just know it's something that's important to me. I never get on my high horse about it, unless you like really want to debate about it, and honestly most people don't so I wont bring it up if you don't.

What I’m doing with my life
I just finished undergrad, and I'm working on my programming skills so that I'm a bit more valuable in the job market. Otherwise working on my podcast/blog. Thinking of switching over to video because people lack the patience to listen to audio only.

Update: SAT/ACT tutor now, still figuring out the above but student loans don't care about me finding my passion
I’m really good at
Taking a pretentious interest in "low brow" art/media. Shitting on people for making "high brow" art/media inaccessible. Rationalizing inconsistencies.
The first things people usually notice about me
The most common response is that I'm "lost in my own world". Others seem to think I'm gay, I prefer fabulous, it's probably due to my flawless skin, or comments like this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books: The Futurica Trilogy, Cosmos, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, The Singularity is Near, A Clockwork Orange, Infinite Jest, Foundation, East of Eden, other stuff.

It's been brought to my attention there are no female authors on this list. If that is a matter of concern for you, don't worry, I spend more time reading philosophy than anything else. Donna Haraway is GOAT.

My favorite movies: Good Will Hunting, Dope, Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Rounders, Pi, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and too many more to name, but also anything by Joss Whedon

My favorite music: I'm pretty into hip hop, black metal, and like electronically produced music right now. Some of my favorites would be Tera Melos, Giraffes? Giraffes!, Grimes, A$AP Rocky, Vince Staples, Run the Jewels, milo, A Tribe Called Quest, Brand New, Taake, Emperor, Behemoth, and random spotify playlists filled with acid/deep house.

Favorite Television shows: Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel, Game of Thrones, Sense8, Breaking Bad, Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who (but seriously, so much Doctor Who), Bojack Horseman, House of Cards, anything Netflix puts out at this point honestly.

Also like anime/manga/comic books, don't care if you think that's lame.

(Currently reading: Saga, Sandman, Buffy Season 8/9, One Piece, Kingdom, Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia)

Favorite food: I love and will try anything once. But I especially love latino food and various asian cuisine
Six things I could never do without
Music. My laptop. Learning new things. Delicious food. Good Conversation. Random objects to fiddle with when I'm supposed to be paying attention.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Disruptive technologies, politics, my career. That or, "why am I single?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Reading political or technology blogs and binge eating pizza
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy Bubblegum J-pop without the slightest bit of irony. Oh, and I sent my only begotten son to die for your sins.
You should message me if
If you feel your personality and interests could be beneficial to my life or vice versa. You know it's the 21st century and meeting people on dating platforms isn't stigmatized anymore so you don't need me to make up some bullshit story. Or if you think I'm hot, I can be shallow too if I must haha
