My self-summary

I get lots of messages that I ignore. I'd say I ignore 90% of them.

Why? They haven't begun to give me the impression they are interested in the real me - not my body or my face, but the "inside me" which I feel I quite reveal in this profile.

My name is Nancy, I live in Lexington. I lived most of my life around Chicago, and moved to KY in 2012.

I want to meet someone in person at a coffee shop or whatever, and TALK and see if it's worth seeing each other ever again. Don't worry about impressing me with a fancy date, let's just meet and think about the second meeting as a date - and the first as just a meeting.

I don't want any online-only relationships. I don't want a new texting buddy, and I'm not into online chatting.

I am a great cook, sweet, friendly and down to earth. I must also call myself a mystic, I am avidly reading metaphysical books and working on expanding my consciousness through meditation and exercises.

I love to play games, not messing with people's minds, but like Backgammon or Scrabble or lesser known stuff like Dominion. I used to build mostly 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles, unless I want to hibernate, then it's 2000 pieces, but I haven't had much time for it lately.

I also meditate every day. It keeps me sane.
What I’m doing with my life
Trying to feel good all the time.

Redefining myself currently. Walking a lot, getting fit, working a lot on Hoʻoponopono - which I always google for the spelling. It is helping me a lot towards my part of a complaint free world.

I was dreaming about my day job. But I quit the job, took a few times before it worked, and sometimes I have to quit it again and then I can dream other stuff. No, I didn't quit my daytime job, I just quit working it in my dreams.
I’m really good at
Finding the bright side of situations.

Pairing colors together.

Baking bread. Uh, nowadays I really hardly ever eat grains, but I bet I can still bake the stuff quite well.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beautiful brown eyes.

Or maybe that I look younger than I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite books are written by Seth (channeled by Jane Roberts). This stuff has helped a lot with my curiosity and is also helping me live a more fulfilling life.

Zero Limits by Joe Vitale and Dr Hew Len. A really easy read, but it still had a MAJOR impact on my life, wow, nice how it could be so easy to read with such results.

I'm just more into non fiction these days. My best luck re-reading any fiction is H.P. Lovecraft, that guy was really onto something.

I hardly ever watch movies except for spiritual movies shown at the Center for Spiritual Living that I attend. But if I do pick something up I lean towards comedies, and I don't enjoy hate, crime and violence in entertainment any more than I do in life.

I love music. I download "this and that" radio from to find new stuff. The newest additions all seem to be psychedelic, and lots of funk. Still, lots of classic rock, some blues, very little but some country (like 3-4 songs out of 2000). But on my non socially acceptable playlist there is a lot of metal from the late 80's, and lots of 90's metal from Europe, and lots of techno, usually the more intense kind.

As for food, I am a great cook and I like to eat a variety of food. I eat semi-Paleo, but I have some goat yogurt every morning to curb my dairy craving, but I am swearing off cow milk and when I cheat it's mostly ice cream, which I am eating less of now anyway.
The six things I could never do without
Good conversation
Music I love
The beauty of the first and last light of day
Tasty food
Things to smile about.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately what has been on my mind is this.

If I live in my own physical space continuum, with my own copies of everybody and everything, do I really HAVE to agree to so much violence and pain in the world, or could I disagree and have MY world the way I want it. And if I did so, would anybody else agree with me and live in a better world too?
On a typical Friday night I am
It's not that different a night than any other really....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm often saying, over and over again in my mind, "I love you", "I'm sorry", "Please forgive me", "Thank You" (that's Hoʻoponopono)

If your profile says you are looking for casual sex, I will not reply to you.
You should message me if
You don't smoke.

Super bonus points:
You will babysit my body when I am having an out of body experience and I will do the same for you, until I finally get the confidence that I won't try to stay away too long.

You are smart.

You like books.

You are open to new ideas.

You Must:

READ my profile, not just looked at my pictures. Prove it by mentioning something in my profile.

Realize that we might not ever have managed to cross paths if it weren't for this web site, and now plan to meet so we can REALLY start getting to know each other.

Know that I am NOT looking for a online or phone relationship.

Your skin color is not important. Your age isn't that crucial since it really doesn't tell enough anyway. I really hope you read, and would bother to preview a woman you might meet by reading what she wrote about herself.
