My self-summary
A close friend once described me as "Different, but in a good way"; good or not, I am most certainly "different".

I love to try new things, I live for the sake of new experience. The worst thing for me is to be stuck in a rut.
I want to travel, see the world, experience new culture.
I become very wary if things remain the same for too long.

This self summary thing isn't writing itself like I had hoped...
There is no way to summarize ones self. You cannot accurately put into words all the unique characteristics that make people special. At least not in this little text box.
- I will rewrite this later.

I am Philosophical, Open Minded, and Curious
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in the Air Force stationed at Scott.
Pursuing a BA in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics, this degree suits my personal agenda beautifully.
I currently have an associates in Computer Networking. I figured I should start off with something practical then move on to something which will better complete me as a person. My intent is to continue through to a Doctorates.
Recently, I fancy the idea of teaching at the college level. My BA will allow for such transitions for a Masters degree if the urge is still present in a couple more years.
I’m really good at
Memorizing textbooks, cooking, cleaning, solving problems, chess, computers, and anything else I care to set my mind to. (I don't mean this in an arrogant way; I simply believe that one can accomplish anything with enough work and thought put into it.)
The first things people usually notice about me
My body language.
When I'm feeling high (the natural high) I am typically strutting around and acting rather quirky.
When my mind is wrapped up in something, I often become stand-offish, very serious, and very quiet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The most recent books I've read in the last 3 or 4 months:
Dexter 1, 2, & 3; Natsuo Kirino's: Real world, OUT, Grotesque; Sherlock Holmes, and Stumbling Upon Happiness.
I've attempted a couple of other books recently such as The Cold Six Thousand, however, the author's writing style just didn't agree with me so I dropped it after the first paragraph.

Amelie is my most favorite movie, it changed me, made me a better person, gave me a softer heart; no other movie has had such lasting effect on me. Unfortunately few people have ever even heard of it, if you haven't, and are willing to watch it, I will actually buy you a copy.

My music tastes vary greatly, yet, I hold to a strong disliking of Rap, Country, and Heavy Metal.
The genres I frequent are Classical, Indie, J-Pop, Techno, Contemporary Jazz, Celtic, and anything with a strong rhythm (I recently discovered some interesting Brazilian bands which I am loving).

Food... I will try anything and everything (update - I am a vegetarian now). The stranger the better. I do not care much for Fast Food, I prefer Real Food (the kind that doesn't always come pre-made in a box). In general, If I haven't tried it, I want to.
Six things I could never do without
My Mind!
Fuel for the Mind.
Something to apply my Mind to.

You get the point.
(All that is and ever shall be is my own personal perception of the world.)

Everything else just makes things easier. I can find a way to manage without all of the comforts technology gives us.
Go ahead, take something away, I'll show you how well I can handle being an absolute minimalist; I dare you! Oh... but before you start turning things off, please don't touch my computer, or the internet, or my games... I like these things very much. ^_^
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do we really need the "about" in that sentence...
Cross that word out and leave it at that.
On a typical Friday night I am
I have 3 types of a typical Friday night:
1. I will be at a symphony/concert/play.
2. Locked up in my room reading/studying.
3. Locked up in my room hunched over my computer.

(I would much rather be out exploring the city with... who knows, perhaps you.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Ask me anything in a direct and concise manner and I will respond with the truth no matter how ugly the answer may be.

This has obvious Pros and Cons. Don't ask me something unless you really want to know.
At times I may be discrete or vague when a subject I care not to discuss arises. However, if you sincerely want to know something, I will tell you.
You should message me if
you have some working knowledge of English grammar and are able refrain from typing like you are being charged per letter you use.
(I.E. U, R, 2 (instead of to or too), diz, iz, dat (you get the idea))

Other than that, just send me a message and I will reply.
The two of us
