My self-summary
I'm an introverted, cat-loving gamer hoping to find someone cute and fun to cuddle up to and binge watch TV shows with.
If you're bothered by the fact that i ended that run-on sentence with a preposition, we'll probably click pretty well.

I swing wildly between hoping i'll meet someone to wife & just wanting someone who enjoys my company who i get to make out with from time to time. If you fall anywhere on that (admittedly rather broad) spectrum, don't be shy about messaging me.

I'm an INFP if you put any stock in the Myers-Briggs thingummy.

P.S. - I'm not an A-lister (is anyone??) and while i do my best to figure out who 'likes' me, it's totally guesswork based on who has visited me recently. So if you're browsing invisibly, and you click like, all i know is that someone new has liked my page. I have no way of figuring out your identity.

Really, you might as well just message me.
What I’m doing with my life
Collecting eclectic information in the hopes it will somehow metamorphose into esoteric knowledge.
I’m really good at
Growing things
Amusing my best friend
Video games (okay not that good)
Giving advice i should probably take to heart myself and put into practice...
Seriously. Anything i put into the ground will sprout.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It just does its own thing, and i seldom make any attempt to tame it anymore.

That i deliberately mispronounce words or neglect proper grammer, e.g. i say 'presume' the way you would say 'praswaim'

I've also received a remarkable number of compliments on my voice, from people of both sexes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
-Fight Club
-Pulp Fiction
-some select few anime

-Terry Pratchett's Discworld series
-Roger Zelazny's Amber (especially the second five)
-The Wheel of Time series by the late Robert Jordan (and more recently by Brandon Sanderson, who is still on time)
-Kim Harrison's Hollows series
-An embarrassing number of teen vampire novels

Music: Practically anything. jazz, blues, rap and country don't do it for me so much, but there are still exceptions.

Food: My tastes are either exceptionally plain or decidedly exotic. I love spicy food and can quite happily wolf down a dish where that is the only detectable flavour, but i also like plain bread rolls, dry cereal, & burnt toast. Nothing dairy, though. I'm not allergic, i just can't stand the taste or smell (except pizza. Mmmmm pizzzaa)

I'm exceptionally good at cooking to suit my own tastes though.

Games - i have a weakness for immersive RPGs. I'm far more motivated by virtual acquisitions than real-life ones. As such:
-Diablo 3
-Grim Dawn
-Fallout 4
-Dwarf Fortress (heh heh heh)
The six things I could never do without
I don't know how i lived for so long without cute furry catthings for company.

I like coffee to a degree that blows right past 'excessive' and all the way through to 'extreme'.

Something to read. Got to fuel the fantastical furnaces in my head somehow, don't I?

Boredom reduces me to a quivering mess of irritability and depression in no time at all, so I definitely need entertainment.

On that note, my best friend is particularly good at keeping me from the aforementioned messy quivering.

And finally the internet, which makes both entertainment and contact with my bestie a LOT easier.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Who devised the cliche "life is short" and why they weren't immediately laughed down. Life ISN'T short, your own life is the longest possible experience you can have. If that's short, what would be of moderate length? A geological era?!
On a typical Friday night I am
Either cocooned in blankets on my computer chair, lost in some virtual world or other, or else getting embarassingly drunk at my sister's board games night.

Or working. I'm not so amazing i can avoid doing that altogether =(
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like brussels sprouts. Actually, that's an understatement. They are far and away my most prefered piece of vegetation to consume.

I once made out with a couch in a game of truth or dare.
You should message me if
You are running severely short of cat pics and would like to be sent some pictures of mine.

You've gotten this far and your curiosity is threatening to overwhelm your (normally) very justified sense of caution.

You think you'd be content being with someone who prefers kisses and cuddles to boisterous sex.

(btw, what's with all the girls who say they won't respond to a simple "hi" or something of that token? Attempting to cram small talk into an initial message is no less banal, and asking personal questions based off their profile seems like it would be creepy. How do you expect us to initiate a conversation??)
