Someday, every photo on my profile will be of me in costumes. lol
I'm always open to making new friends, but I am on here looking for someone to date and possibly start a relationship with. If you think we'd make a good team, let's see where things go.
Some of my paintings. --> www.natalie-becker.deviantart.com
I also like yoga, writing (fiction), philosophical conversations, listening to audiobooks, cooking, taking walks, traveling, exploring cities, making costumes (cosplay), and playing with makeup and face painting.
I'm slowly learning guitar and would love lessons/help/pointers if anyone is willing :)
I'm totally willing to try new activities, and regardless of how I feel about anything in particular, if you're passionate about something and want to share it with me, I would love to experience it with you.
I'm try my best to live a healthy lifestyle via diet, exercise, mindfulness, positive sex, etc., and making sure I have good people in my life.
I believe every relationship can be beautiful and enriching if they happen at the right time with the right person. I'd like to find someone interested in a long term relationship, but everything happens in steps, so I'm open to shorter, more casual relationships, as long as they are grounded in respect and communication.
I'm also attentive when listening and I can stay objective fairly well. I'm a quick study, and I always try to do my best.
This is kind of a weird question...
I generally prefer fantasy and sci-fi, (things with adventure and an interesting cast of characters) when it comes to literature and film. I also enjoy books on personal growth and meditation, and the occasional scientific documentary or lecture.
My musical tastes are eclectic, and really I just want to be able to sing along with someone in my car. :)
That said, I would rather talk about all of these first date topics... on a first date. :D
My friends and family
A good night's sleep.
- How to balance my time more efficiently. There are so many things I want to learn and get better at, and there just never seems to be enough hours in the day.
- How/Where I can make social connections with people who share my values.
- Social, political, economic, natural and deceptively mundane problems in our world, and whether I can actually make a difference or contribute towards making our planet a better place to exist. (Thank you TED talks.)
- Where to place my trust and commitment.
- Existential marveling at the vastness of our planet, the universe, and time, and that somehow we are all supposed to find meaning within ourselves.
- How I can make myself a better person and work through my weaknesses to express strength and positivity.
Honestly I think a lot, about a lot of different things.
Or painting, writing, singing - probably with friends.
Saturdays are my preferred evening for "going out." I'm not big on alcohol, but I'll have one or two drinks if I go out dancing. I'm definitely not into getting drinks at a bar and then sitting around talking while getting progressively more drunk. If I want to have a conversation with my friends, I don't need to be drinking for that to happen.
Wine + movie + cuddling/making out is an acceptable exception to the previous statement.
I want to meet passionate people with positive energy that I can share my interests with and who want to share theirs with me. If you lack a certain level of confidence, it's sadly a huge turn off for me.
I think people should kiss on the first date. Period. Feel free to challenge me, but I will argue my point. Plus, making out is tons of fun. :)
FOR THE GUYS:: I am almost exclusively looking for girls romantically, but if you'd like to start an awesome platonic relationship and go dancing or have other adventures together I am totally open to that. That said, you might just steal my affections, but you'll have to be pretty damn charming and bring your A game if you want me to get hetero-curious with you.
And definitely say hi if any of the following songs make you want to get up and dance. Dancing is awesome. :)
