My self-summary
Well, this thing says to write a 'self summary'. I guess the first thing that people will realize quickly is that I don't enjoy talking about myself. And when I do talk about myself, I tend to talk myself down. It is the Rodney Dangerfield ('I get no respect) method, but sometimes I skirt the line between humility and self-deprication.
I am a pretty simple guy. I work in public service (way different than what i went to school for) and I love it (except for the day my student loan bill comes in the mail!). On my off time I enjoy relaxing while watching tv in my underwear. I am a musician, and try to do many music related activities as possible- that may mean playing a show, giving a lesson, or going to a concert.
I try to see the best in people. Sometimes it is a bit difficult, but I try hard to make that happen. With that being said, I like to think of myself as more of a realist than an optimist. People who come to me for advice may find what I say to be a bit crass, but it is because I try to speak the truth. So, that would be my one caveat-if you are looking for an optimistic 'yes man', I'm probably not your guy.
What I’m doing with my life
I am living it. Or at least I try to. I have a career, and like to try new things when possible.
I’m really good at
Eh, I'm alright at a bunch of things, but I don't know if I'm really good at them. Well, I guess I'm really good a reading people. I usually use that skill for pushing buttons- especially at work. It makes the time go by faster.
The first things people usually notice about me
Who knows. I usually don't ask what people notice about me. If I had to guess, it would be my genuine personality and witty comebacks.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books- confessions of St.. Augustine, any sort of biography, books on music, musicians, or the music business.

Movies- a lot of slapstick comedy. But I'll give you a few of my favorite movies. 'American Grafitti', 'Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon', 'Dirty Work', 'A Few Good Men'. I also don't mind chick flicks. You're talking to a dude who went and saw 'under the Tuscan Sun' by himself.

TV shows- I am a huge tv junkie. Celebrity apprentice is a guilty pleasure. How I Met your Mother', I loved the '24' series, I am pumped for the 'Arrested Development' movie, 'American Dad', 'It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia'. That's just a few of the shows I am into.

Food- I enjoy eating. I am in no way a foodie. Give me something good and I'll eat it. I like to consider myself a carne adovada connoisseur. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of are tomatoes. But even then, crush up the tomatoes and throw a couple jalapeños in there and I'll eat the crap out of it with a bag of chips.
On a typical Friday night I am
If I'm not working, I'm usually relaxing. I go out, but it's not an every weekend thing anymore. I could buy a six pack of miller light for the price of one drink at a bar. And I don't have to look for a DD, either.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Of the few profiles I've looked at, I've noticed a trend with this question. Women like to say something along the lines of 'if I wrote it, it wouldn't be private' or 'just ask. I won't bite hard' and then they finish it off with a smiley face of some sort. So if you thought you were being original, you're not. I don't know why his little thing bothers me, but it does. So there. That's as private as I'm gonna get.
You should message me if
You want to take me on Maury Povich for a paternity test. I've always wanted to 'c walk' on the stage and then high five every person in the audience.
