My self-summary
I'm a fun, energetic person who likes outdoor activities (e.g., riding bicycles, hiking, skiing), listening to live music, and traveling. I would like to meet someone with similar interests.

I enjoy helping others and volunteering. I was a math tutor to 8th graders in an at-risk school district and I have volunteered at a Veterans center. I started my career as an engineer (I used provide engineering support to an aircraft maintenance facility). It was a fun job, but I wanted to pursue something more humanistic. I attended medical school and then completed my surgical training. I would like help someone else achieve their goals.

I love to travel. The coolest places that I have been: Istanbul (a lot of history), Greek Islands (Santorini is beautiful), and Israel.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm working on taking board exams right now.
I’m really good at
Listening and helping solve problems. As a hobby, I like to fix/rehab older homes. I like learning new things and in home repair, it seems like there is plenty to learn. I'm fairly good at technical writing. I've published several articles in the Journal of Hand Surgery and other scientific journals.
The first things people usually notice about me
Smile and nice personality.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything written by Malcom Gladwell. Musical groups that I like: Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Mumford and Sons, Imagine Dragons (e.g., "Radioactive")
The six things I could never do without
Health, family, friends, computer, transportation, phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to be a better person.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out at outdoor festivals/art shows, and/or listening to live music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can make awesome cinnamon rolls.
