My self-summary
There's no honest way for me to "sell myself" on this page without creating a caricature. I'm a human: I have some wonderful attributes, and some others that wouldn't help me to "sell this car". I'm a perpetual work in progress, in process, and on my way. I can be awkward at first, but that can evaporate pretty quickly once I'm comfortable with someone. I'm strong, independent, and have been through some rough shit on my own...but I'd prefer to be part of a team. Aside from all this heaviness, I can be funny as hell, and tend toward the irreverent and inappropriate. Sacred cows should be bbq'd - everyone's. I love to shock my friends. Yep. I'm that guy. I'm a conundrum like anyone else. I'll tear up at the right note, being played at just the right time, while flipping off the dude in front of me because he didn't use his turn signal. Sometimes I'd like to be someone else, but I also know I'm lucky to be me. I get one ride for sure, and this body is the vehicle that was given to me. It's one in 8 billion or so.
What I’m doing with my life
Working hard in a new position at a robot factory, trying to convince everybody that there's a better way to do things. (I'm an ENFP - a Campaigner - so it's right up my alley). Mountain biking a lot, and then treating wounds and icing various parts of my body. I also play drums and write and record music between mountain bike injuries. Consistently striving to be a better human and learning how to fully be me.
I’m really good at
Things that involve physical coordination, like mountain biking and drumming. I'm good at my job. I am also really good at being a smartass. It's like a super power.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm on their roof, and they have no idea why. ( Holy shit - THAT was a good one ) Probably my bald head, which makes me 25 percent more aerodynamic than I was with hair. Very handy. I've been told that I have a nice smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Lots. Ask me. If you're into Queens of the Stone Age, we should probably just get married.
The six things I could never do without
Life is pretty good at helping you learn that you can do without a lot of the things you thought you could never do without. Except waffles. Everybody needs waffles.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What it means to be alive, and what I'm doing here. And why I just nastily crashed on that section of trail I've done 50 times.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a bike, barstool, or couch.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was at a Queens of the Stone Age concert at Red Rocks a few years back - my favorite band at my favorite venue - and I felt myself getting a little emotional. I was mouthing all the words...and then I instantaneously realized what it's like to be a 12-year-old girl at a One Direction concert.
You should message me if
My profile resonates with you at all. I think I'm done being too specific about what I'm looking for, or why you should contact me. When the right thing'll be happening.
