My self-summary
Just landed here after 5 1/2 months of adventure and I already miss the back-country.

I'm not a fan of this noisy city.

My best features are my beaten and scarred legs.

I'm proud to be hiker trash.
What I’m doing with my life
Working towards a future in the mountains.

I work as a bike mechanic to pay the bills.

I spend the little free time I have outdoors and its never enough.
I’m really good at
Planning "excursions".

Going outside and staying out there until lots of time and miles are behind me, and all the skills that come with that. Flying by the seat of my pants. Dealing with it. Goin for it. Pushing on. Laughing through the worst. Hitchhiking from/to the middle of nowhere. Finding the perfect spot to camp. Sleeping in swamps. Sleeping on rocks. Sleeping behind gas stations.
The first things people usually notice about me
People? ewww...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The A.T. Guide, The Florida Trail Guide, Lame Deer Seeker of Visions, Notes from Underground, Hunger, 1984, Youth in Revolt, The Road

I quit music.

Vegan. Trying to eat more real food.
Six things I could never do without
I could do just fine with less than you'd think but more than I'd like to admit.

Tiny houses and moving cross country by bike are things I look forward to.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Being outside. Staying outside. Old trails and new trails. The futility of trying to meet like minded weirdos online and in the city.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home with the fam.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've been single for about 8 years now and have barely dated in that time.
You should message me if
You want to explore the wild with me and my pup. Weekends spent taking on big miles in big open spaces.

Day hikes, long distance backpacking, trail-running, road/mountain biking, on and off-road touring, kayaking, canoeing... you get the idea.

If Type 2 fun is the only kind of fun you know.

I would flip if I met another long distance hiker here.

Seriously, doesn't anyone else want to get away?
