My self-summary
I am probably the nerdiest outdoorsman you will ever meet, and damn proud of it.

I spend copious amounts of time in the woods cultivating the shrinking Art of Manliness, reading books heavily, and learning everything I can about the world around me. I have done multiple weeklong solo backpacking and bushcraft trips, and uncountable numbers of weekend trips as well. I mightttt just be addicted. I am working on how I can do the Appalachian trail. It will happen.

I am also obsessed with NASA and the space program, and it's a crying shame that interplanetary trips and exploration will not be possible in my lifetime. I have a nice collection of rock and mineral specimens to my name.

I am a science fanatic, and I have a special knack for detecting bullshit on those silly facebook memes that people just love sharing without doing a simple fact check. Snopes is my best friend.

I also have a fascination with a wide array of subjects, including 6th-13th century Britain, medieval history, space travel, snakes and other reptiles, all things WW2, evolution, anything Elon Musk creates, how various machines work, aircraft, cars, historical fiction, and more.

Finally, I am a bookworm. I read, and do lots of it.
