My self-summary
Kansas City native that loves hanging out with friends playing board, card or video games, especially Munchkin.
Liberal to the core, and believe strongly in equality in all forms. Can't stand commercials, especially pharmaceutical ones, which is kind of odd because I usually prefer villains/antagonists over protagonists.

I'm looking for a woman who's confident, smart and can appreciate dark comedy. Ideally she'd have some technical skills, enjoy playing video games together, and talking about current events and scientific developments.
What I’m doing with my life
I've hopped around through some IT support jobs, and
I've recently become a software developer.
I’m really good at
Mathematics, logic, grammar, Nintendo
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my beard.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As mentioned earlier I prefer books and movies with strong and intelligent villains. If their motives aren't clear, or are underdeveloped, I'm typically not a fan.
Favorite books of mine are the Vampire Hunter D series, Hitchhiker's trilogy, Harry Potter Series, LoTR, Our Dumb World, Stephen Colbert, Zombie Survival guide and World War Z.
Favorite movies are usually comedies such as Idiocracy and the Venture Brother's seasons. I'm a big fan of most of the Marvel movies. Just a few others off the top: the Alien and Predator series (not AVP though), Fight Club, Amelie, Serenity, the first Matrix, Star Wars (4, 5 and 6), District 9, Stepbrothers, Old School, etc. I tend to base my desire to see a movie in the theater by its rating on Rotten Tomatoes, or at least set my expectations.
As far as television goes, Adult swim typically has my favorite line up. Rick and Morty is one of my favorites, along with Futurama and Stewart/Colbert. Along with the movies, I'm also a fan of the Marvel tv shows both on abc and Netflix. Some others include The IT Crowd, Snuff Box, Bob's Burgers, and Archer.
Six things I could never do without
Internet. I cannot overstate this enough. I love having so much information available to me so easily, especially since my memory sucks. I am constantly looking up things I don't know.
Coming in after that, in no particular order: Running water, transportation, shelter, A/C at said shelter, humor.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
It's amazing how many advances we're making in the medical field. Artificial organs, cancer fighting viruses, all kinds of things that could possibly extend our lifespans significantly. I just hope we don't blow ourselves up first.
On a typical Friday night I am
I am back on a Monday-Friday schedule after a couple years of weekends/nights/overnights. Still getting used to it and haven't gotten out much on Friday yet!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my favorite accessories is a Hydra belt buckle I frequently wear to work.
