My self-summary
I am a joyful, precocious and abnormally well grounded human (mostly...). I am physically and Intellectually agile and get as enthusiastic about ideas as I do about corporeal adventures. I know how to play like a mongoose and how to sit still quietly for long periods of time, finding profound satisfaction in each. I am adept at loving and receiving love (mostly...). I know how to laugh and how to cry. I seek sincere and enthusiastic collaborators / witnesses in my process of becoming whole and crave the same privilege of supporting others.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a musician and an instrument builder. I am a sculptor, a dancer, an educator and a student of life. I ardently focus on what is most important to me - connection (there's a heap more to say about this, but I'll wait until we are face to face).
I’m really good at
Making all manner of things well, figuring out ways to make things / make things work better, crying during the happy parts of movies, listening and paying attention to details, asking piercing questions, knowing my heart, being unflinchingly willing to be known by others, not giving up, staying up late, dancing (a new friend met at a Contact Improvisation Jam last week paid me a lovely compliment: "You have the most sympathetic hips of anyone I have ever danced with!" - for full effect, imagine this spoken in a Colombian accent), perspiring, kissing, touching (listening with my fingers), not making promises that I can't keep, keeping my promises, swimming and holding my breath under water, jumping, dreaming about flying, being faithful, falling in love, paying no attention to the passage of time....
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and the light in my eyes (so I'm told)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Malcolm Gladwell's 'Outliers,' Ross King's 'Brunelleschi's Dome,' Marlo Morgan's 'Mutant Message Down Under,' Elizabeth Gilbert's 'Eat, Pray, Love,'

Movies: The Frisco Kid, Like Water For Chocolate, Most Science Fiction (that's about science and meaning rather than violence)
The six things I could never do without
Today's list:
Love
Trust
Depth
Growth
Laughter
Magic
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Teamwork. How to love better. Music.
On a typical Friday night I am
Dancing and cuddling with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If your interest comes from a sincere desire to know me then there is absolutely nothing I will not tell you about myself.
You should message me if
You want me to know that you're interested in making a connection as I can't see, "likes." Seriously!
