My self-summary
I’m here not looking for a hookup in any shape or form. I am looking for a genuine romantic connection with sex as a healthy component and fondness and affection as a constant.

Some words that describe me but don’t define me: mostly gay, slightly neurotic, culturally Jewish, vegan of over 39 years, compassionate, smart, verbal, playful.

I’m an actor grateful to be finding success a little later in life.

You found out I’m an actor and you’re still reading? I like you!!!

I am also a nondriver. I quite driving in 1992 and am fond of saying the world is now a safer place for everyone. I get around town by bus, train, and mostly footbike. Kicking around town on this grown up size scooter is my transportation, exercise, and, well, kind of my passion. If the idea of dating someone who doesn’t drive is unthinkable to you, I completely understand and feel free to drive on by.

About the vegan thing. You don’t have to be vegan, but would prefer someone who at least regards animals as living creatures and gets and respects my choice. And if you don’t mind eating veg at least occasionally, that would be swell too!

On the yin (feminine energy)/yang (masculine energy) scale, with 1 being the most yin, I’d say I’m somewhere between 4 and 6 and am usually attracted to someone who is in the 7 to 8 range. In other words, a little more alpha than me, but not so much that you’re trying to get a dog collar around my neck.

I’m attracted to guys who are taller than me (at 5'4" is that too much to ask?), and a big fan of trimmed facial hair – beard, mustache, goatee. Clothes wise, I have a limited sense of color and fashion, but admire those who do. Actually, I have a bit of a clothes fetish. Fortunately, it covers suits (and especially windsor knots) to jeans, so whatever you’re wearing will probably turn me on. Just thanking you in advance for avoiding the T-shirt with the fresh stains on it on the first date. Height, facial hair, etc. – everything is trumped by a nice smile and a kind heart.

I am not looking for pen pals, thanks. And I’m not looking for a long e-mail/phone relationship building up to meeting. A couple of e-mails and perhaps a phone conversation and let’s meet or move on – coffee, hike, meal, whatever. I’ve invested too much time and too many hours with wonderful correspondences that have ended in mutual disappointment upon meeting. Who we are in person is not duplicated in any other medium. Basically I want to end up in some guy’s arms, not on his laptop.

Sexually, I favor kissing, full on frottage (frot), mutual JO, and perhaps oral with the right guy. Top/bottom activities not so much. I’m more of a side.

The next move is yours. Coffee is just coffee and no vows will be exchanged on first meeting.

I sincerely wish all of you the fulfillment of your fondest desires.
