My self-summary
When I'm not traveling in my TARDIS, practicing Defense Against the Dark Arts, looking for UFO's, or hunting demons with Castiel, you'll find me with my camera to my face, a book in my hands, or my fingers flying across my keyboard.

I'm nerdy, flirty, a little bit quirky, and really bad at math. I'm searching for friends - guys or girls - who enjoy intelligent conversation, like gushing about books, movies, TV shows, video games, and wont mind the company of a geeky fangirl. No, seriously, don't message me if you're not cool with that.

As for my personality, it's rather often that I have been called an old soul. I am often quiet and contemplative, though it's just as common for me to be energetic and rather loud when I'm having fun around people I'm comfortable with. My goal is always becoming a more wise and altruistic person, so I often meditate and reflect on the personal elements of my life. I try very hard to see the best in every situation, and to get along with everyone I encounter.

I want to find beauty in the darkest places.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a professional pet-sitter and freelance photographer for the Main Line, and I plan on starting at Bryn Mawr college to finish up my degree in psychology. I only recently moved to the area, so when I'm not walking dogs and petting cats, I spend a lot of my free time exploring Philadelphia and hanging out in neat cafes. I love a place with pumpkin muffins and an open mic.
I’m really good at
Speaking in quotes, quoting quotes, and remembering quotes to quote later. It's rather often that I'll be in conversation and blurt out a great line by C.S. Lewis, Oscar Wilde, or something from Jurassic Park. Just as long as it's slightly relevant.

Also, having an open mind, and making my friends laugh. Skill wise, I'm rather gifted at most creative art forms. I find my strengths are in acting, photography, and writing, though I'm also quite good with a pencil. However, there are definitely some things I would love to be better at. I wish I could play an instrument, and I always wanted to be a digital painter.
The first things people usually notice about me
I mostly get "Oh, my gosh, I love your t-shirt," but there are a few other ones I hear rather often. Aside from my apparently striking green eyes and my tiny body, I frequently get commented on the way I walk. Apparently I have the tendency to sashay.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm an avid reader and my entire library shows my deep love of scifi and fantasy novels. I'm wild about classic authors such as H.G Wells, H.P Lovecraft, and Edgar Allen Poe. I'm also into comic books and some manga, but don't ask me to list my favorites.
The Abhorsen Series, Artemis Fowl, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, Catcher in the Rye, The Call of Cthulhu, Christine, Chronicles of Narnia, Dogs Body, Dragon Tears, Dragon Rider, Eragon, Firebringer, Harry Potter, The Hounds of the Morrigan, Inkheart, The Keys to the Kingdom, Sherlock Holmes, The Sword of Truth, Warriors, etc.

I watch everything from silent films to the special effect explosions of today. Disney and Studio Ghibli are the glue and gravity of my childhood, and Turner Classic Movies is my weakness. However, I love science fiction and fantasy, and have to have a Star Wars marathon every year or I go crazy and start to talk to myself."
Australia, Airplane, Alien, Avatar, Bladerunner, Castle in the Sky, The Dark Crystal, Donnie Darko, Dragon Heart, Entrapment, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fright Night, Howl's Moving Castle, Indiana Jones, Independence Day, Jurassic Park, Notting Hill, The Mummy, The Philadelphia Story, Pulp Fiction, Pretty Woman, Real Steel, Star Wars, Star Trek, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Spirited Away, V For Vendetta, etc.

The X-Files is the greatest TV show of all time. Though, as I mentioned before, I'm a geeky fangirl, and the Syfy channel is my best friend, as well is the BBC. I also love watching 90's cartoons and a selective amount of anime.
A Bit of Fry and Laurie (anything with Stephen Fry, really), Ancient Aliens, Arrested Development, Battlestar Galactica, Big Bang Theory, Being Human, Doctor Who, Family Guy, Firefly, Frasier, Futurama, The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra, New Girl, Scrubs, Seinfeld, Sherlock, Supernatural, Star Trek, Torchwood, Warehouse 13, Witchblade, Whose Line, The X-Files, 30 Rock, etc.

I love to play pen and paper RPG's more than anything, but I still love video games. Hack n' slash are my preferred style. Anything where I can blow things up is always a plus.
American McGee's Alice, Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Crash Bandictoot, D&D, Diablo, Dead Space, The Elder Scrolls, Grand Theft Auto, Kingdom Hearts, Mario, Minecraft, Ratchet and Clank, Spyro, World of Warcraft, Zelda, etc.

Music is extremely important to me. I always have my headphones in whenever I'm alone, and I can't drive my car without having the radio blasting. I listen primarily to alternative, indie, and all forms of rock. The deeper the bass, the better.
Aerosmith, Android Lust, Barcelona, Bastille, Bruce Springsteen, Cher, Coldplay, ELO, Ellie Goulding, Franz Ferdinand, The Goo-Goo Dolls, Gungor, Imagine Dragons, Journey, Maroon 5, Meatloaf, Nickelback (yup), Nine Inch Nails, OneRepublic, Owl City, RED, The Script, Seether, Train, Queen, etc.

My favorite style of cooking is Asian, though I have a very open mind when it comes to food, and I find I'll taste anything twice. Aside from that, anything I can cover in buffalo sauce.
The six things I could never do without
My glasses
Green Tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Self improvement. I'm in a constant state of studying myself from the outside and trying to be a better person with each passing day, and I believe kindness is key. I strive to truly understand other people and to not judge them for any flaw they might have. I have been told on occasion that I'm too forgiving of everyone, though I don't find that to be a bad thing. I suppose I just prefer use my energy by loving people rather than being critical of them.

However, my mind is a bit of a whirlwind, and I'm always thinking of a million things. On a good day, I love to think up new stories to write, or pictures I wish I could paint. The rest of the time my mind is on God, London, UFO conspiracy theories, mythical creatures, space, time travel, and the ghosts that live in my closet.
On a typical Friday night I am
Every now and then I have to get my whammies out by kicking ass at laser tag or by playing D&D, but normally my weekends are pretty relaxed. I love hanging out with people of my type, usually bowling, playing pool, smoking hookah, or seeing a movie. If I'm not out with friends, I'll be on my couch watching Netflix, reading, writing, or editing photos. Or I could be just cruising backstreets in my car listening to music and podcasts such as This American Life and Welcome to Night Vale. It depends on the evening and what I'm up for, but I never mind a simple night in, curled up on the sofa.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a plush puppy named Puddle that I've had for over fifteen years, and I still sleep with him every night. If you don't love Puddle, you don't have a chance.
You should message me if
If you're into girls who are a little bit awkward, a little bit clever, and a little bit outspoken. If you ever need a good laugh, or are in the mood for deep and/or intelligent conversation. If you seriously just read this entire page of mine and didn't get bored. Honestly, if you understand Eddie Izzard references, you're probably set.
