My self-summary
Just turned 41! I guess that takes me out of range for a bunch of you but I'll just have to take the attitude it's your loss and not mine! I'm going to change my profile to be a little more specific, as perhaps my previous summary was too bland, and really, I have nothing to lose. I still look for the same type of woman and I still consider myself honest, passionate, considerate, hard-working, happy, humorous, confident (at times) and a kind gentleman. By that I also mean brutally honest at times, passionate sometimes to the point of distraction, and humorous occasionally past the point of tact! Honestly though I believe I was raised as a good kid and I've taken those values with me as guidance.

I still think physical attraction is very important and it's still a broad category. Physical attraction to me can be anything from a warming smile, a twinkle in the eye, a friendly demeanor, an infectious laugh, a fun personality, (all of which I do believe manifest physically) to a nice style, an attractive face, a sexy body, and a woman just being feminine. What's on the inside does count a great deal as well, and I would more than take note of that. I find confidence attractive and a stage 5 clinger, not at all. Seriously, I can't stand it if you need constant attention. Believe me, you will get plenty.

I am allergic to cats, but I do like dogs, so I don't want to waste your time if you can't live without your cat(s). I don't have a dog currently, but once the backyard is fenced in, I am seriously considering getting one.

Normally, I can be shy at first but that usually means I'm interested. This may differ when meeting someone (from) online, as I've never done this before. Get me on the right topic though and I will be hard to shut up. I do understand the term of chemistry, and not in a scientific sense (although I understand that too!) I have nothing wrong with "comfortable silences". I've been told that sometimes I beat to a "different drummer" and I am sometimes proud of that. I think it takes all kinds to inhabit the world. However some might say I'm quite normal. I like staying at home with a good dinner and any form of home entertainment (movie, tv, games) but it's also nice to go out as well, patios, movies, dining, clubs, etc. I'm not the camping type, but a cabin wouldn't be out of reach (no I don't have one, just saying).

I have great interests in the arts, specifically performance arts, which include film. I'm drawn to science fiction but can enjoy anything from a silly comedy to a chick flick as well. I love basketball and soccer, and still like baseball but what I think would be most fun is sharing your passion for something. Influence me. Even trying a new restaurant can be a great thing.

Although I call myself Catholic and Christian, I would not push something like that on you unless you were interested, just please don't push Atheism on me. At this point in my life I believe its more of a personal spiritual thing, and I highly doubt I would change my mind.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking a serious plunge into working where I've always wanted to, film/television and theatre, as an actor, writer and director.
I’m really good at
Listening, and getting to know someone. Also breaking things down and analyzing things.
The first things people usually notice about me
Eyes? Height? Demeanor? Stature? Presence? I've never really asked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords. Snow Crash. Daughter of the Empire series.
Movies: so many to mention, from Lord of the Rings to Magnolia to Glengarry Glen Ross, any Tarantino, also any Redford directed. Red Rock West, to Fifth Element, to The Game.
Shows:Lost, BSG, Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones
Music: I used to DJ so I really like a lot of music. I tend to lean towards R&B, pop, dance, house, dubstep, but really appreciate rock classics, and even classical.
Food: so many different and unique tastes and combinations. For example: a good steak, mushrooms, arugula, fish, tiramisu, wine, sashimi, a good Pad Thai, Asian, Italian, French, Canadian, Spanish, and the list goes on
The six things I could never do without
Family and friends, which really, combined is basically companionship.
Good food, which nourishes the soul as well as the body.
The arts, (theatre, music, visual) to expand the mind.
Nowadays, the internet, although any form of information will enrich the mind.
I personally need some faith. The spirit has needs, even if that need is to be an atheist (which I'm not). Call it morality if you will.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my next project!
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I created this profile a long long time ago when I didn't take it quite seriously. Who knew this site would grow? I can only change the name by upgrading (paying) to do so, which I don't find worth doing.
You should message me if
What I'm looking for is a woman who is confident, intelligent and independent, also affectionate, fun and considerate as well. I'm happy to date, and if you're looking for something serious, I would also be interested if we were suited for each other as well.
