My self-summary
I am infectiously happy and optimistic, and I love to party with good friends and meet awesome new people. I consider myself emotionally balanced, incredibly patient, and mostly responsible for the obligations I take on in life. I believe strongly in the phrase "This Too Shall Pass." I feel happy when I take care of other people, such as curing hangovers with V8 and Tylenol, or just forcing my friends to include copious water during a night of heavy boozing. My bedroom and bathroom are always the cleanest rooms in the house. Other people have described me as awesome, raver, mellow, amazing, slutty, giving, inspiring, asshole, OCD, clean, and hippy. If you tell me you can't hang out because you have the flu, I will probably insist on coming over with medicine, tea, and chicken soup.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a nurse for the City of San Francisco. I also travel as often as my job allows, probably in a city near you! Next year I will return to nursing school and go for a graduate degree in anesthesiology.
I’m really good at
Cooking delicious healthy food, shooting whiskey, rum, and tequila, getting my ass kicked by the ocean while attempting to surf, and fracturing my L1 Vertebrae while attempting to go off jumps with my snowboard. Helping my friends move because I am the only guy they know with a pickup truck. Using my good looks and charm to find a Win-Win solution to challenges. Survival wilderness camping. giving showers and pedicures to my cats.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am a Viking. Tall and blonde. I am also the only white male staff nurse in my 700 bed hospital, and most of my co-workers have children who are older than me.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Politics- I am a political radical, in that while the Democraps and Republicant's only want to use Band-aids on our current system or revert our current system back to the Guilded age, I think that what we as a society and individuals would be better off with would be a radical new system that enshrines Democracy instead of our current Plutocratic Oligarchy.
Macroeconomics- I am constantly thinking of how to form an economic system that could simultaneously lift 3 billion people out of poverty, eliminate greenhouse gasses, bring freedom of communication and information to every living human, and fund a colony on Mars.
Astrophysics- I believe that we humans are sacred and unique in that we are chains of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen that are self aware of the fluctuations in space-time that gave rise to the galaxies and stars and supernovae that ultimately created our world, our biology, and ourselves. I believe it to be the highest purpose of life to understand and contribute to the understanding of the cosmos which we are a part of. We are the universe, perceiving itself, for a little while.
Evolutionary Biology- I believe that the greatest threat to our species and obstacle to a greater understanding of the cosmos and the universe is scientific illiteracy, which is often justified by our antiquated religious dogmas. I believe that the most direct and compelling evidence of the uselessness of religion as a guide to understanding the world is to contrast the various creation myths with the elegant and verifiable reality of evolution.
Burning Man- yeah, I spend a lot of time preparing for and recovering from the big dusty thing.
Girls- after all, why else would I be on this site?
On a typical Friday night I am
Causing trouble, usually bar hopping in the Mission or Castro. Or perhaps dancing up a storm at Mighty or the Public Works. Or recovering from a long day of snowboarding at Heavenly or Kirkwood. Or if it is cold and rainy, making dinner and having a movie night with my roommates.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really love cats. To the point where it gets weird. Like when I buy dresses for my cats.
You should message me if
You are awesome and desire the company of a similarly awesome guy. You want some company for a snowboarding trip! You want to go on a walk / hike, or want to come over and play a game of Uno with me and my roommates. You want to rock out at Beat Church, Ritual Dubstep, Afrolicious, Dub Mission, or build a spaceship. If you are a hot Burner chick or Suicide Girl, please message me, it would be the highlight of my day.
