After 47 years, I think I'm finally getting to understand this, that there really is a choice in each moment, how we engage with life and how we choose to see our lives. Are we empowered and awesome, enjoying life and making things happen or are we stuck in stories that keep us limited. I sure know I have had my stories and now I really want to live in each moment with gratitude. If I'm not doing that, I know something is off. That doesn't mean you don't walk away from certain situations or change things, but there is definitely a choice point about how we see life.

Reading the Night Circus now. I have read a lot of pyschology, communication and spiritual books like Eckhart Tolle and the Enneagram. I also really like history (was a history major in college).
I also love the sensual, sacred poetry of Rumi, Hafiz and the Radiant Sutra's
I think my favorite thing to do on a weekend night is to go see live music and have a pretty eclectic taste.
