My self-summary
Please use they or he pronouns for me. I do not respond to she pronouns, or anything in relation to being identified as a woman/female.

I am a midwest, awkward, queer, poly, kinky, zinester, activist, quirky, nerd. I swear I have an old cat queer soul because of how much I love cuddles and naps. I love to make stupid puns, smoke hookah as I listen to live local bands, drink bloody marys on the porch, have picnics in the park, finding creative outlets to express myself, and finding good food/cold press coffee.
My aesthetic is fae 90's pop punk, queer fem, boy band look.

What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Beloit College with an education and youth studies: youth and society degree, minor in health and society.
I went to college wanting to be a sex educator.

Working at Peace Coffee and getting my latte art down by attending throwdowns.
Volunteering at a LGBTQ Lutheran non-profit.

I am on the Minnesota Men's Roller Derby league as a Destruction Worker (Slamrock Shake #317). Derby to the death!

Cuddling with my cat, Mouse. And trying to save the world through sexual health activism and intersectional feminism/queer activism.

Trying to be more sustainable. Make my own food. Etc.

Making unique bloody marys cause I want everyone to enjoy them so I like to experiment with different juices, mix ins, and toppings.

Listening to too much Kesha...
I’m really good at
talking your ear off about coffee, brunch, dressing up for theme parties, activism, making bad puns, playing the oboe, colorguard, kicking your ass as Talim in Soul Caliber II for Gamecube, board/card games, stress cleaning, and dancing/singing badly to pop songs in the car and kitchen.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am very enthusiastic about my ideas and beliefs. I have a ray of sunshine about me. I tend to be a bit shy at first as a heads up, but I am a social person at heart.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Kate Bornstein and Ellen Hopkins are my favorite authors. I read fiction , manga, scifi/fantasy, queer theory, sexual health, and comic books.

I really enjoy watching movies with friends. I like Disney, kid movies, scifi/fantasy, romantic comedies, dramas.

I watch way too much TV. I like the same genres as I do in movies, and also British shows, action, and sitcoms. My favorite shows are Friends, Orange is the New Black, Dead Like Me, 2 Broke Girls, Bob's Burgers, and Parks and Rec. And then anime from time to time cause I am a dork at heart.

The only genre of music I do not listen to is country. I love going to local music venues and learning about local bands. If it has hookah, that is a plus. Kesha is my love, and I do enjoy listening to my 90's pop punk still.

Podcasts: Welcome to Night Vale, Thrilling Adventure Hour

My favorite video games are Prince of Persia, Soul Caliber, Harvest Moon, Cooking Mama, Katamari Damacy (sp?), and Resident Evil 4.

I would rather spend money on food and drinks than buy souvenirs when I travel. I used to be picky on spicy food and foods with lots of spices in them, but I am getting better. Seafood and french onion soup are my favorite. Magners hard cider, bloody marys, and cold presses are my favorite drinks.
The six things I could never do without

On a typical Friday night I am
I now also work at a second cafe, so I am closing shop alone while eating cookies and posting coffee photos to Instagram like a hipster. Saturday nights I try to go out dancing (always up for Ground Zero).

I used to go to hookah bars and local music venues a lot. I would love to do that again. And also drinking games to shitty movies. And tabletop games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I do not know how to drive or how to swim.
I went to a fetish play party/dance party with my Amsterdam host parents.
I do not like peanut butter and chocolate together.
I am afraid of death.
