My self-summary
I like to imagine myself as bi-coastal, but in reality, I spend most of my time in LA. I used to live in NYC, and now I basically come back on a regular basis for a good chunk of time and sometime help friends or friends of friends with various art projects, and also just hang out with good friends. Frankly, my social life in NY is pretty fun, but my social life in LA sucks ass. I'm mostly out there because of the weather and I like living a biking life style all year round.

side note, I'll be in NYC from October 19-29th.

I can be kind of a long story, because I seem to be constantly evolving, but I'm nearing the end of that evolution. It's been a long strange trip, and I didn't even get that crazy with drugs and alcohol.

These days I lead a generally healthy life style of good food, exercise no television, not even all that much alcohol. If I have one vice it's weed. I'm a practical idealist of sorts, a poor man's renaissance and aspiring old school natural philosopher. I do my own thing. I'd like my life to have more hedonism and debauchery in it. I consider myself a "sensualist" and aesthete. ggg
What I’m doing with my life
I'm coming out of an extended period of solitude and transformation, I guess. I love my solitude, but I really need to get out more. Right now I'm having the problem of finding people I can relate to. But it'll all come eventually. I may be fairly pessimistic when it comes to the fate of humanity, but I'm pretty optimistic when it comes to my own little universe that I am creating.

I like to lead a life balanced between theory and practice. Thinking and doing. Right now I'm fixing up a house in Lincoln Heights (architecture is my background) and working on book about physics and it's history....which has a radical thesis.

II don't do instagram, but my flickr page is fairly biographic.
I’m really good at
I'm more of a dilettante and flaneur.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players"

I like my food organic and unprocessed (but I'm not insane about it)
I prefer live music to recorded.
I enjoy theater
I enjoy art made for art sake, or for the sake of the artists sanity.

I don't follow pop culture
The six things I could never do without
I live simply. no tv, no car (for LA that's kinda a big deal)

my bicycle, and sunny days...which is why I moved back to LA. none of the bullshit winters.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm big on alternate theories of everything. I have a few of my own. Science, aliens, the universe, philosophy, and why the world is going so fucking crazy. Also sensual and enjoyable things.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't have a 9-5, so I tend to stay in on the nights everyone goes out and go out on the nights everyone stays in.

I'm not a big drinker, and very rarely obnoxiously drunk. I smoke the weed on a not unfrequent basis.

In general, I prefer dive bars to clubs, and I'm always up for live music, art openings and galleries, exploring places I've never been.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm fairly open, but my heart is guarded.
You should message me if
You dig what I'm throwing down, and would like to add to my experiences while I'm in town, and perhaps you'd like to have someone you can visit in LA. I was just in NYC in May, and have no plans to return until late summer/early fall.

I'm an open minded non-judgmental person; here from for all types of interaction from innocent to lascivious. I like to let things go with the flow.
