My self-summary
I love history, science, and art. I believe in the Oxford comma. I save up to travel, not to buy things, and pretty much everything in the world fascinates me. I'm a multi-dimensional nerd.

I don't get out much because I work a lot, so I'm really just looking for random new people to chill with
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a designer (of the user interface persuasion). Every year I consider art school in Edinburgh but every year my career progresses, so who knows. Trying to figure out how to use art for things I care about (i.e. science and history). Kind of hit rock bottom on this one but I'm trying to get into fitness more; I like to run and climb stuff. I love going to the beach any time of year- the ocean's probably my favorite thing.
I’m really good at
Painting and design, I suppose.. and writing, to a degree.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm tall and a complete nerd. Possibly my sense of humor- making people laugh alleviates awkwardity (yea, that's the word I'm going with)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books: old fairy tales, mythologies, medieval literature, anything on physics and space, history books
Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Braveheart, Gladiator, LOTR
Shows: Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Attack on Titan, Outlander, documentaries (mesolithic to medieval British history, specifically)
Music: The Beatles, The Ramones, Pink Floyd, Blink-182, Defeater, Dan Deacon, Fever Ray...LOTR soundtrack... alt rock, classic rock, foreign dance music, folk metal, Viking metal, classical & opera, traditional Irish & Scottish, Native American Flute... And of course 90s-00s pop
Food: Pizza is my religion. And I love Indian! mmmm
Games: World of Warcraft for life ❤️, Bioshock, Mirror's Edge, Halo, Portal, Braid. Older I know; haven't found many favorites in a few years. Also I can't finish a game without going back to WoW, so there's that
The six things I could never do without
the big picture
the Beach
Shipyard pumpkinhead
I spend a lot of time thinking about
the universe, biological anthropology, etymology, evolution of everything, multiple worlds theory, oreos
On a typical Friday night I am
trying not to forfeit the night to exhaustion/work/laziness. When I'm not being lame I attempt go out around Boston, though the older I get the more drunk college kids annoy me so my regular spots are dwindling. Sometimes I go for a late-night run (being afraid of the dark helps me keep going)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm not a private person; I'm open about everything because honesty spices up conversation.

And I listen to the Disney pandora station in traffic to ease the stress of people cutting me off, though road rage accompanied by "a whole new world" probably looks psychotic to onlookers.
You should message me if
Anything, entertain me :)
