My self-summary
I retired a number of years ago as Senior Vice President of a management consulting firm which specialized in higher education and academic medical centers, following a brief stint in Washington, preceded by positions at the University of Massachusetts and Vanderbilt University. If you know your Myers Briggs, I am an INTJ, but fairly well balanced.
What I’m doing with my life
Giving back. Helping people.
I’m really good at
Analysis and diagnosis, and planning, after all, I am an INTJ.... I also read people well. Pretty decent cook.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Generational Oldies, Classical; "Being There", "Young Frankenstein", "Blazing Saddles", "Little Big Man', "Dances with Wolves", many more; Creole/Cajun, Italian, Greek, Thai, sushi, fish
The six things I could never do without
Deep and abiding faith. Love. Affection. Sunshine. Good food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to go next. Chile, with Easter Island and Patagonia, in 2014. Before that Guatemala, a return to Greece, focusing on Crete and Santorini. Been to China, Tibet, India, Nepal, Egypt, Kenya, Thailand, Cambodia, Russia, Czech Republic, all over the Caribbean, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Israel, Jordan, along the Baltic, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Portugal, more. Next trip is Turkey, especially Eastern - done the coast before - drat, we had to cancel that. Went to the Grand Canyon instead - my first visit! Stayed three nights in Sedona - great. Nicaragua and Costa Rica in 2015. Japan in Fall 2016. Still want to do AUS/NZ, but thinking about another safari in Africa.
On a typical Friday night I am
The joy of retirement: every night is Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Shirley you jest....

You are an INF. Your world is bigger than the US. Re-incarnation is a possibility. Your Creator is loving, not vindictive. Original sin is a horrible idea, cooked up by men to create religious jobs.
