My self-summary
"Honesty is the best policy...Really, it is."

I don't do motorcycles, bungee jumping or parachuting. The best news I've had this year is my divorce is final. No more need to explain to potential dates that a reconciliation is not a possibility...Since it would need consent from both parties. I am extremely pleased to be finished with a 23 year marriage that should have ended ten years ago. Honesty and a willingness to communicate are my top priorities. I don't come with directions but I am a communicator so it isn't hard to figure me out. I am a smoker and I don't see that coming to a dead halt anytime soon so either you fire it up with me or at least tolerate my bad habit. I am honest, forthright, romantic, compassionate, cavalier, appreciative and passionate in everything I do. I do not take women for granted. I like to talk about "us" often...It keeps surprises out of the relationship. I am a pet owner(dog, sadie) and a huge football fan (bucs, jags, fins in that order), (noles, canes, bulls, gators in that order). I am big on public displays of affection, whispering in your ear and cuddling both before and after or for no reason at all. Want to know more? I promise I won't consider you too forward or too anxious if you make the first move by contacting me. Refreshing, isn't it? I dare ya. I am Only and A and Thang at the Y.

I am dependable, faithful, and romantic
What I’m doing with my life
I am increasing the clientele of my business while actively seeking the woman of my dreams somewhere out there...I already met my nightmares.
I’m really good at
Guess I could say playing the guitar? Singing? What I'm really good at I can't/won't say here and please don't ask if you don't want a truthful answer. It's not something I would bring up on the first date..or the first email...although the topic has arisen pretty fast once or twice. Hey, if you want to talk about it I am all for it, but don't expect me to bring it up. I'm too respectful of women to do that...especially a woman I have just met.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. Can I really see the depths of your soul? Hell, I would settle for a flashing neon sign on your head telling me your true intentions from the start. At least I would know what I'm getting into then if I chose to proceed it would be my own fault if I got hurt.

No, I can't see into your soul but once upon a time...just once...I think I saw a bonfire in her eyes when we met. The attraction was mutual and I was in 7th heaven for well over a year...then she dumped me.

Just one MORE time I'd like to find that kind of attraction again. Somehow my eyes will know. And yours will too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite food is Grilled Steak or Lobster. There are not many foods I don't like but I usually pass on chocolate ants and pigs feet...mountain oysters don't appeal to me either.

Music...ahhh music. Did I mention I was a DJ from 1970 till 1985? The only music I DON'T like is Rap...unless it's by Johnny Cash. (He did too release a rap went to #1...ask me). The name "Rap Music" is an oxymoron. I'd prefer listening a beatnik in a illegally smokey room with bongos. (Dig it, daddy-o).

Books I like mysteries, biographies, science fiction, Stephen King...unfortunately I don't read many books anymore.

Movies...did I mention I was easy? As long as I can cuddle with someone special I really don't care what I'm watching. I won't watch a snuff movie and I really don't like foreign films only because I miss too much of the film while I read the subtitles. Beyond that I am open...from G to XXX. From Dumbo to Dumbass. I particularly liked the Bourne series. Star Wars was a favorite but I only saw the first three (or 4) which was really episode 4, 5 and 6? Havn't see the latest trio...people told me I would be disappointed but I doubt it. I enjoy the talents of Morgan Freeman, Harrison Ford and Sean Connery among others. I'm a guy so give me Julia Roberts or Meg Ryan any day.

That was a lot more informative than I thoght it would be when I started.
Six things I could never do without
I saved this 'till last because I hate lists.

Ok, let's can't say consider it number six.

Number five...hmmm...should I go for the obvious air, food or water? Naaa...number five is my dog.

Number four (I feel like David Letterman) would have to be this damn computer. In 1980 I didn't know what it was but 26 years later I couldn't live without it.

Number three has to be the NFL. 'Nuff said.

Number two has to be music. What a big part it has played in my life over the years.

Number one is Family. No other comment needed there.

(Although numbered, these six items are not necessarily in any order of importance)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what tomorrow might bring.

I know I have a kindred spirit. Is she in my town? My County? My State? This country? This continent?

Is she on the internet or at Winn Dixie? Is she on this site or playing pool at yahoo? Wherever she is I have faith that we will meet. We WILL bump into each other somewhere at some point in time...maybe tonight...maybe tomorrow.
On a typical Friday night I am
...on this damn computer. But I'd rather be with you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am addicted to Reese's Cups (the big ones, not bite size thank you)
You should message me if are NOT looking for a one night stand. All the wild oats I once had have gone to seed. I am only looking for someone that could seriously be my final mate in life. Unlike my 20's and 30's, this prowl I'm on is sure-footed and focused with a confident certainty of the type of woman I want to live with forever. Novices need not apply. Cold fish stay away. If you don't like football at least be willing to learn not only the game but the best times in the game to "distract" me.
The two of us
